Chapter 13 Ghost

I was walking down the hallway and realize, When did I get up, and what am I doing out here. I continue to walk down the hallway and I saw a man. This man had cloak on so I couldn't see his clothes." You must survive this horrid game",the man said."Don't fall in the hands of despair, Shadow"." uh who are you, what do you mean", I said confused."you will know this when the time comes",the man said. He turned around to face me and I couldn't see his face. I was about to ask him how he knew my name, but he held out his hand and a bright light appeared. I opened my eyes to see now I was in my bed. At my door there was a lot of knocking I quickly ran to the door I opened it to see Dan and Anthony." we thought something was wrong because you slept half the day away", Dan said. I got dressed and headed towards the cafeteria to get a snack. I saw Justine, Ian, and Verlis, but verlis sat at a table by himself far away from Ian and Justine."Good afternoon sleepy head",Justine said."Afternoon?, I was sleep that long", I said. They nodded and motion for me to come closer to them." Verlis was sitting there all day and hasn't moved, the only thing he was doing was reading",Ian said."No one really went over and talk to him just once in a while glare at him". I looked over at him, he had paused his reading and was caught in thought. I decided to grab a sandwich and sit with him."Is this seat taken",I said smiling at him. He looked up and glared at me."Was that suppose to be funny"."well I thought it was funny", I said sitting down."so, what are reading"?"A book that's all you need to know", he said sarcastically. I looked at the title and it was about psychology."I'll leave you alone if that's what you want",I said getting up."ya think",he said going back to his book. I walked over to Ian and Justine and told I was going to the library since I never went. They told me they were going to be down here so I left the cafeteria. As I was walking down the hall towards the stairs to the 2nd fl, I froze in my tracks. The man I saw in that dream I had earlier was standing there at the end of the hallway. He looked at me and quickly turned around."WAIT!", I yelled at him. He peeked over his shoulder to look at me."please just tell me your name that's all". He looked at me even thou I couldn't see his face I felt as if he was looking at me dead in the eyes." My name is Alter", the man said. He then disappeared. I stood there shaking a bit why could he be here. I continued my way to the library and Cry, Aphmau, and Drake there." sup sleepy head", drake said said smiling. I smiled back and began gazing over each book in the library. Cry and Aphmau was sitting at a table with a pile of books on it."what's going on", I asked scratching my head."me and Aphmau was trying to see if there were any books around here on how to get out,but we found nothing", cry said sadly. It was kinda hard reading cry's expressions because he was wearing a mask all the time, but I knew he was upset." well imma be over by those books if you need me. They nodded and I went to another side of the library. The library was on one floor but it felt as if the room went on for ever. I looked back at Aph and Cry and said to myself." Should I ask them about Alter". I thought for a moment,( Maybe I should keep this to myself for a while). I walk over to what looks like a file cabinet." I wonder what this is doing here". I then open the cabinet to be met with nothing but dust. I cough a bit and looked in the cabinet. In it I see 5 files. I grabbed each one and was shocked at what each file was. They were files of 5 of one of us. I quickly ran towards Cry and Aph and Drake was there with them."Guys look at what I found", I said showing them. The files were papers about, Ian, Anthony, Cry, Drake, and Ken. We open up each one and only saw there YouTube levels and names."why would these be here",Drake said in shock. I don't know but lets discuss this with the others, alright", I say looking at them. They nodded and we headed to the cafeteria. I went into my pockets and realize my student handbook wasn't in my pocket." imma run to my room real quick guy, I left my handbook"."ok just hurry down to the cafeteria",aphmau said. I ran as quickly as I can to my room to retrieve my handbook. I enter my room and see my handbook on my nightstand." we should really call these handcards", I mumbled to myself. I turned around and jumped. Tamashi was standing behind me, but he looked very, very angry."uh you need anything", I said kinda afraid of his scowl."Where is he", he said in a low angry voice." um who are you talking about", I say backing up a bit."Don't play dumb". His voice got a bit louder and angrier."I'm sorry Tamashi I have no clu-". He charged up to me grabbed me by my shirt and pinned me on the wall behind me."YES YOU DO WHERE IS ALTER!". His voice got louder he then began to growl showing all of his teeth."Tamashi please believe me I have no idea who this Alter person is. He looked at me and his face went to a smirk."you could be telling the truth, but if you're lying". He turned around and faced the door." I wonder how wolf blood would taste like", he said with a big smile that you could see even when turned around. My heart began to race fast, I started trembling badly. I quickly left the room to join the others.( I shouldn't mention what happened with me and Tamashi to the others). I made it to the cafeteria." bout time you got here", Tiffany said. We all sat at the table Drake started."Shadow when you went to go get your handbook, we were able to find more files in the cabinet you looked in, but there is one problem"."I look at him confused."what's the matter"." your file was the only one that couldn't be found", aph said. I look at everyone, some people gave me suspicious glares." why would mines be missing"." I don't know but we'll look for it. I thought, could someone really not want me to know my YouTube level. Mark looked at me suspiciously."Shadow you never really told us your YouTube level, its been 8 days, you should of remember by now". I looked at the ground twiddling my thumbs." now that you mention it he is the only one who doesn't remember and whose file is missing",Toby says eyeing me down. I continue to look at the ground." how do we know that he is one of the people who brought us here, he found the first dead body, was the last one here,and he acts suspicious",marks pointing at me. I begin shaking a bit,( Is everyone against me at this moment, what's going on)."so shadow what's your YouTube level, mark said." I-I um don't know". I then began to shake more to the point everyone was looking at me shake."show us your handbook maybe your level is there and you don't want nobody knowing",verlis said with a smirk. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my handbook. Everyone gasp at my YouTube level."wait what, there's nothing there",verlis said in shock." If I wasn't suppose to be here why would my handbook mention me having one". Some people still looking at me suspiciously."hey its getting late lets got to bed alright",Felix said. Everyone nodded at him and headed towards there rooms."we'll deal with you later", Toby said poking at me. I sat there while everyone left.(I-I'm gonna die, everyone sees me as a threat to their lives, that I'm the one putting them through this). Tiffany and drake came back."listen we believe that who ever is behind this is afraid of what your talent is and is hiding it from you",Tiffany said."if you need someone to talk to just talk to us ok",drake said. I nodded and went back to looking at my handbook.(Just have some hope alright don't fall for despair, that's what Tamashi wants you to do). They then left going to there rooms. I got up from my seat and I felt as if all of the sorrow I was feeling went away. (There right I must have hope no mater what). I then walked to my room and sat on my bed.( I must have hope no matter what). I then laid down and fell asleep.
