Hi guys!!!!!

I'm going to go on a long-winded speech for a minute, and I hope you'll bear with me ❤️

When I first started this book, I did it for the sole purpose of showing how far we have come in society. What I didn't anticipate, however, was how hard of a time I would have stomaching writing about this.

I want to be clear...I am a HUGE supporter of people living whichever lifestyle they choose, as long as they are happy, and CONSENT. If everybody in the relationship consents, then you do you, my friends!

I was having a huge moral issue forcing Sophie into a life of domestic discipline when she didn't consent. Originally, she married for the intent of love and a family of her own. She didn't have any idea what she stepped into. It was so difficult for me, that I almost deleted the book all-together. This is why I made them fall in love so quickly—I had planned on dragging it out for a ridiculously long time 🤪, but I couldn't.

My plan was always to end the book with this specific chapter. I wanted to show that there HAD to be woman like Sophie who spoke up for what she believed in, and men like Matthew who chose to listen. Otherwise, we never would have evolved into the society we are now.

The amount of love and support I have gotten from this book has blown my mind. I figured I would offend a lot of people (which I'm sure I did) and I didn't honestly think that this book would have been received well at all. I made this book hard to stomach on purpose, and I was fully expecting the readers to throw stones at me.

That didn't happen.

Because this book has gotten so much love, I decided to write a sequel!

Since Sophie chose to stay in the relationship, she has consented. At this point, I am comfortable continuing on with Domestic Discipline. Just because Matthew chose not to use the belt on her last chapter, we all know that he isn't giving up the lifestyle—It's all he knows.

The beauty of change is that it seeps through the generations. Junior, Jamie, and Remi are seeing Matthew and Sophie break the mold, piece by piece, and that will shape the way they raise their families...Eventually, their bloodline will probably get rid of it all together. It's unrealistic to think that Matthew will get rid of it, but one day his grandchildren or great-grandchildren might.

Your love and support has been everything, and it's because of YOU that this book is continuing on. I created my second book, 'Marriage of Growth'. It's up on my page with the first chapter waiting for ya if you're interested❤️❤️

Thank you for the love—I figured I'd get a LOT of hate, and I didn't.

Kindness is still here, folks. Thanks for being kind, and staying with me on this journey.

xoxo

Lucy❤️
