Chapter 26: Resurrection

3rd POV:

Hades sensed the soul of Percy leaving him. Suddenly Artemis yelled.
"We can save him".
"How?" Poseidon who was crying asked his son's girlfriend hopefully.
"We have to him an immortal. Just an immortal" She said.
Poseidon looked at his younger brother Zeus.
"If we are going to do it, we have to make them fast. Because I can see his soul leaving him." Hades warned his family.
Zeus nodded and chanted in ancient language.

Percy was embraced in a slight glow. Then it began glow with more light. It was a golden glow. Then it died down.

Hades saw Thanatos leaving the room re-embedding the soul of the hero.

"Apollo, check him" Zeus said to his son. Apollo got to his right away.
"His vitals are good, nothing serious to be found. He is stable" Apollo said. Artemis and Poseidon nodded in happiness.

Everyone except Poseidon, Hestia and Artemis flashed to throne room. Hera has already left the room earlier not able to see her son's death.

Evryone was happy, but Apollo was not. He was worrying about something.

The Gods were hapy about winning war, but was sad seeing the situation of Percy. They discussed about the gifts for their children. About the repairing of battle damages etc. But Apollo didn't participate in any of them. Zeus noticed the worrying face of His son.
"Apollo, is there anything making you worried?" He asked.
"Yes father, there is something. Percy has been saved from death. But he is in coma. And it is not like I have seen or heard. It is beyond my power" Apollo said the thing that worried him.
"It is bad. How are we going to say it to his family, Poseidon, Or Artemis. They are still worrying on him and what will happen when they hear this.?" Hades said.

Evey God's who was present there had their face changed to sadness and concern filled. They thought a way to save him and inform his family.
They agreed to tell them on the meeting of winter solstice which is 2 days later. But no one got any idea on his situation of Percy.

Percy POV:

I was suddenly pulled out from the grasp of Thanatos. He was filled with grief when he approached me. When I left his grasp, he was first confused but then was happy.
"You have broke your curse young hero. They have made you an immortal" He said and flashed away.

I was then hit by darkness. When I woke up I saw I was in a throne room standing.
The room was like a galaxy. Like I was in space. Immediately I got an Idea who was going to approach me. A figure was suddenly flashed into the throne room. It was Chaos.
"Hello Chaos" I wished.
"Hello Percy, I see you win the war against my children." He said.
"Yes I have and thank you for telling them a way to save me"
"How did you know I was the one who saved you?" He asked surprising.
"You flashed me here just after Thanatos left. So I just guessed." I answered him.

"Oh" He could just say this much.
"So Lord Chaos, why have you called me here?" I asked.
"I have a proposition for you Percy" He said.
"And what is that?" I asked.
"Percy I propose you the position as the Commander of Chaos army." He said.
"Why would I accept it?" I asked.
"Percy there will be an another war on Earth. But that is lead by a powerful being. Even powerful than Primordials." He said.
"Okay.if I accept, will I be able to be with Artemis." I asked.
"Percy, you can create an elite squad which can protect this universe. They will be the commanders of different battalions. And to your question. You can lead your civilian life at earth as being a God. And like you wish. And your home base of your squad can be earth. But we should keep it as a secret. So do you accept?" He asked.
I thought about it. If I accept this I can lead my life as I wish. Also I get a chance to protect not only earth but the entire universe.
"I accept your offer Lord Chaos" I said my answer.
He nodded happily.
"Brace yourself" He warned and shot me with a helix black beam.
When it touched me, it pained me a little. But not anything serious.

"You are the first Champion of Chaos. You will have to train here in this planet Percy." He said.
"How long?" I asked.
"Not so long, you will have to train for 500 years. And don't worry, time run different here. It is only 5 months on earth." He said.

Artemis POV: 5 months later.

When Apollo said Percy is in coma, I couldn't digest that. It was like something big hit me.
Uncle Poseidon was always sad after this incident. Others situation wasn't any different.
Uncle wasn't able to see his favorite son lying there motionless. He took him to Percy's Island to keep tab on him. It was also a preventive measurement to prevent others from seeing him. As he doesn't like to be revealed yet.
He also granted Me permission to enter Atlantis whenever I want.

But I need to be with Percy, so I gave Hunters a break until I say. They were confused but agreed. I also said that they will be commanded by Thalia and will be at camp. The party of celebration and reward ceremony wasn't conducted yet.

I spent my most time in His island with Percy and sometimes with his pets. They became friends with me pretty easily. But like Percy I couldn't understand them.

It has been 5 months after he broke his curse and slipped into a coma stage. It was heart breaking to see my love lying like a dead body.

I flashed to the room which Percy lied after my drive of Moon Chariot. It was one of the way I would relax myself. I sat on the side of Percy. I took his hands in my hands. I cried on his hands until I fall asleep.

I was woke from sleep when I felt a kiss on my lips. One I missed for many months. I opened my eyes see Percy awake. I kissed him back with there was no tomorrow. We sucked in each other. Tingles were spreading through my body. My stomach fluttered like anything. Oh my Gods, how much I have missed this feelings, this lips, this kiss.

After a long time of kiss, we pulled apart and looked at each other. I then slapped him.
"What was that for?" He asked.
"Don't do that again" I answered him rubbing on his face where I slapped.
"Oh okay" He said. I kissed at his cheek.
I informed everyone through mind messaging that Percy is awake.

Suddenly The door burst open revealing an extremely happy God of Sea. He ran to his son and hugged him hard.
"Percy My son" He yelled in happiness.
"Hey dad" Percy said. Poseidon looked to his son once more and hugged him. Every Olympian Gods and His Family flashed in. They all hugged Percy. Triton and Tyson hugged his brother. While Amphitrite, Hera and Hestia hugged their son. Apollo, Hermes, Area, Dionysus and Hephaestus hugged their Cuz and Partner in crimes. Father and Uncle Hades also hugged their favorite nephew. Demeter, Athena and Aphrodite also hugged him. Everyone was filled in tears. Everyone had their eyes filled with happy tears.

After a great reunion, we started the discussion to fill Percy the after wars. There was only a small amount of death. But the amount of casualties were high. After a time of Five months everything was back to normal. Romans and Amazons have returned to their home. I also had a increase in my numbers of hunters.

Then Uncle Poseidon announced a party and a good reunion. Everyone cheered at this. No one knew why there was a party but only knew every Olympians were there and was having a party.
All over the Party, I was with Percy. We had a quite good reunion. But I saw Percy wasn't having a good time.
"Percy what is bothering you?" I asked.
"Well Artemis as you know Parties and Crowds aren't my type." He said.
"So what are you planning?"
He just smirked at me. I got it. He was sneaking away. But Athena noticed him.
She said it to Apollo.
"Percy you can't roam around. As you know, you were in coma for 5 months." He warned him.
"Oh come on cuz, I can do whatever I want" He said and flashed away.
Apollo just stood there dumbed.
"You know Apollo, he isn't an obedient type. He do whatever he want." I said.
"Yes I know. He is after all son of sea." He said. I grinned at him.

Suddenly I was also flashed away. I opened my eyes to see Percy standing in front of me. I looked around and we were on a cliff.
"Why are we here Percy?" I asked.
"I thought we could spend some time alone. We only. After all it has been 5 months" He said and hugged me. I lean on to his lips and kissed him. It was not a long one. But one with love and passion.

I leaned on to his shoulder while he laid his head on mine. We sat there watching the mesmerizing view in front of us.
