Eric is that you?

Chapter 6

Eric Pov.

I have been trapped in this cell for months and never once have escaped from it. I have tried mind linking people but it's weak so I gave up on it. I figured if maybe if I got good enough strength I could do it. But now that dick is going to go after Maxine I have to warn her.

I've been trying since he left. It's going to her but she has a wall up for me and won't answer. I have no idea what that dick has done to her. The only thing he told me was that he raped her, and let's say I had silver burns on me for months.

Then finally I hear her voice in my head. "Who is this?" She says and I sigh in relief before linking her back.

Maxine Pov.

Someone is trying to link me but I keep ignoring them because I would have a block on them for a reason. I start getting a headache and I groan in pain. Dustin looks at me in worry. At the moment we are sitting in our bedroom watching bad reality TV shows. After I had told Dustin about me getting raped we have just been cuddling together.

When I woke up I had noticed that Dustin had a little bit of Tucker's scent on him. He told me that when I had fallen asleep that he went to go talk to him.

"What's wrong?" Dustin asks and the headache gets stronger that tears start to prick my eyes. "Someone is trying to mind link me." I say before I cry out in pain and Dustin starts holding me instantly. "Answer them." Dustin whispers and I nod in pain.

"Who is this?" I mind link to the person and the headache stops. "Maxine, you need to listen to me closely." The person says and I instantly recognize the voice. "No Eric I'm not talking to you after what you did to me." I say sternly to him. "No wait! The Eric you've been seeing for months isn't me!" He says and I can hear the fear in his voice.

"What do you mean?" I ask and Dustin stares at me waiting for me to tell him something. "The Eric you have been seeing isn't me, it's someone else. It's a Demigod." He says and confusion consumes me. "What's a Demigod?" I ask. "I don't have time to tell you but I need to warn you that the Demigod that looks like me has a plan to kidnapping you." He says and my eyes widen as fear consumes me. "What?" I say and Dustin looks at me with worry. "Tell Dustin about this and search Demigods. I have to go before he finds out I'm mind linking you, bye Maxine I hope to see you soon." He says quickly before shutting off the mind link. "Eric, wait!" I say but it doesn't go through to him.

"Maxine who was that?" I hear Dustin ask and I look at him. "It was Eric, the real Eric." I whisper and Dustin looks at me confused. "What do you mean real Eric?" Dustin says. "He said that the Eric I have been seeing for months is a Demigod. Do you know what a Demigod is?" I ask and Dustin eyes turn black for a moment.

"Yes I know exactly what a Demigod is." He growls and I just stare at him. "A Demigod can take the face of any human or supernatural. They do this so they can make love to another human or supernatural. The demigod with Eric's face must have thought you were in love with the real Eric so that's why he raped you so you would have a child that would be an immortal half-god half-human or supernatural. And that child could choose to take over the world if they would like." Dustin tells me and my mouth opens with pure shock. "What else did he say?" He asks and fear quickly consumes my shock.

"He said that the Demigod has a plan to come kidnap me." I say and Dustin growls instantly, wrapping his arms around me. Even though all this is going on I still feel amazing sparks traveling through my body. I snuggle in closer into his chest and he starts to relax. I look up at him to him already looking at me.

I lift my hand up and slowly start to trace his jawline, gently. Dustin instantly leans into my touch and I smile at him. I slowly lean up and he starts leaning in until our noses touch. Then I quickly press our lips together and Dustin responds instantly. I wrap my arms around his neck as he does to my waist.

After a few minutes it starts getting heated until Dustin pulls away slowly. All I hear is our heavy breaths and racing hearts. "We need to stop before..." Dustin trails off and I nod sending him a smile. "That was...wow." I breathe out and Dustin chuckles in agreement.

I can't help but grin at him as I look into his dreamy, blue eyes. I still don't believe that an Alpha like Dustin could be this amazing. Dustin is known for killing any rogue that touches the border. Also for being one the strongest Alphas seen in a hundred years. He's got such a big reputation that I can't believe he's not the way that people think he is.

"What's on your mind?" His voice breaks me away from my thoughts and I look back up at him. I send him a smile before I answer his question. "I was just thinking that you're nothing like people say you are." I tell him and he gives me a curious look. "What do you mean?" Dustin asks and I think for a moment before answering.

"Well before I met you I've heard people say that you kill every rogue that touches your border and that your cold hearted and cruel." I inform him and he rolls his eyes when I say cold hearted and cruel. "Well the first one has some truth in it but I'm only cold hearted so my enemies don't have a weakness for me. And I hope I'm never will be cruel in my entire life." Dustin tells me truthfully and I smile.

"I don't think you ever could be." I whisper as I lean against his chest, my eyes threating to close. I yawn without meaning to and I quickly cover my mouth. I her him chuckle as he picks me up and lays me on the side of the bed. He turns off the lamp and lays next to me, pulling the covers over us. He protectively wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me against his chest. I lean back so I'm touching him more, and seems to like that because I hear him growl in approval. Soon I let the darkness consume me into a dreamless sleep.
