A/N: Yay, I finally updated this story! I'm sorry it took so long; I ran out of inspiration for a while. But now that season 2 has come out, my inspiration has been renewed! If it's been a while since you've read this story, I recommend going back and reading the previous chapters again, just to refresh yourself. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the new chapter! More to come (hopefully) soon.

After a fruitless search of their respective rooms, Kinsey and Tyler went downstairs to the foyer to meet up with the Bodes. "Have any of you found the Head Key yet?" Kinsey asked.

"Nope, not yet," Glee said.

"Unfortunately not," Studiousness said.

"Nothing," Curiosity said.

"Alright, that just means we split up again and continue searching," Tyler said, still holding on to Bode's Fear with his makeshift rope leash. "Curiosity, you can look in the storage room. Adventurousness, you can search the guest room. I'll look through Duncan's room; Kinsey, do you want to search the basement?"

"Sure," Kinsey said.

Everyone split up again, and Kinsey went down to the basement to search for the key. This was one of the last rooms in the house that they hadn't checked yet, so Kinsey knew her search had to be thorough. There were stacks upon stacks of boxes filled with old stuff inside.

"Hey, Kinsey. Do you need something?" Nina said, sifting through one of the boxes.

"Yeah, actually I do, Mom. I'm looking for a key shaped like a head. Have you seen anything like that recently?"

"No, I haven't, sorry."

"That's okay. Can you help me look for it in these boxes?" Kinsey asked.

"Sure, just let me take care of this box over here and then I'll come help you." Nina walked over to a box that was sitting in the corner and picked it up. "It's just filled with junk. I've been meaning to take it out all day."

"Alright," Kinsey said, looking through one of the other boxes.

Nina left with the box, and when she came back down to the basement a few minutes later, her face was pale and aghast. She said, "K-Kinsey, I just saw multiple Bodes up there. What is going on here?"

"Oh, yeah, right. I'll just give you a moment," Kinsey said.

"W-what do you mean you'll just—" Nina froze, staring blankly, and when she snapped out of it, she acted as if nothing had happened. "Okay, let's look for this key of yours," she said as she started helping Kinsey. They managed to rummage through every one of the boxes, but the Head Key was not in any of them. Then they moved on to search throughout the rest of the basement, but the key was still nowhere to be found.

"Nothing," Kinsey said.

"Oh, sweetie, I'm sorry," Nina said.

"No, it's okay, Mom. I really appreciate your help."

Kinsey walked back up to the foyer, where Tyler and the Bodes were waiting.

"There you are," Tyler said. "Took you long enough."

"Well, sorry, Mom and I checked every single box down there."

"And?"

"The Head Key wasn't in any of them. We checked the rest of the basement, and it was nowhere else down there either."

"It wasn't in any of the rooms we checked either," Tyler said. "Something can't be right here. We must've missed it somewhere."

"Hold on, let me check something," Kinsey said. She went back down into the basement. "Mom? Where did you take that one box you said was filled with junk?"
