England's POV:

Carl and I had headed back to group so we can get ready to leave for the gun training. My father sees us coming up and looks at Carl as  he starts walking with us to the car.

"Now if you're gonna do this, if your gonna learn how to use a gun. You listen to Shane." My father says. Carls eyes lit up as he looks at my father next to me. He nods his head.

"Okay, dad." He reply's.

"All right? You be careful." Dad says as Carl gets in the car.  From the side I see Glenn standing there just staring at us. I smile over at him.

"You coming?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"Nah. I gotta help dale clean the spark plugs on the rv." He says. His eyes panicky but his face neutral. I raise my eyebrows in question. "He said he's gonna teach me mechanics. I should probably go look for him." Glenn starts to walk away when a voice stops him.

"You found me." Dale says. We both turn to look at him. Glenn starts fidgeting. Dale looks at me. "He's a good learner." I narrow my eyes on the two of them.

"All right then. See you later, Glenn." I say purposely saying his name instead of his nickname and get into the passenger seat of my dads car. Somethings going on between the two of them, that they are not saying. And it's really starting to bother the sh*t out of me.

What could they possibly be hiding that Glenn doesn't want me to know? Aren't I his best friend? Does he not trust me enough with whatever he is hiding?

"Are you okay?" My fathers voice breaks me out of my thoughts. I look at him before looking out the window.

"Always." I still stare out. I can feel my father look at me for a second before looking at the road.

"English, you are just as much our kid as Carl is. You know that." I sigh look at him.

"Maybe to you, dad. But mum probably thinks differen-"

"Don't." He looks at me sternly. "If she doesn't feel the same way that i do as I thought she did...then that's on her." He says. I look down to my lap. "You are my kid, England. Don't you ever doubt that. Okay." I nod my head. "Good."

We don't say anything for the rest of the drive. The only sound being heard is the air coming in from the open window. I smile as I feel the wind in my face. When we get there, Carl comes over to me as I get out the Car.

"I'm gonna shoot a gun, English!" His eyes bright as ever.

"Yeah, I know. Cant wait to see how you do." I ruffle his hair.

"Maybe I'll be as good as you. Maybe even better." He states with a knowing smile. I playfully glare at him.

"Not even close, champ." He sticks his tongue out at me and I do the same. Dad laughs at our childness and walks over to the group with a two of us following behind.

Boom!

The echo of the guns being shot at targets, sounds everlasting loud. Loud enough to bring hundreds of walkers from miles away to here. But sucks for them, they won't be able to pinpoint where the sound comes from. Hehe

Bullets flying everywhere. Some at the target and some not even close to them. I walk along my father and Shane inspecting the shooters to see how each of them are progressing. We get to where T-dog is and see Jimmy hit his target easily. I clap my hands at them.

"Nice job, Beth's boyfriend." I say. He looks over to me with a smile. He looks like a little kid on Christmas morning opening presents. We continue walking and stand by Andrea. From the looks of it, one may think she didn't hit her target. At least that's what I thought until at the sign underneath. I smirk. Not bad.
