England's POV:

Here goes nothing... I think to myself.

"I got us some squirrels! Let's stew 'em up." Daryl says, setting his crossbow down. He starts walking towards the RV. I clear my throat.

"Hey, Daryl. Can you wait up for a minute? I need to talk to you about something." I say. He stops walking and turns around to look at me.

"About what?" He asks gently.I clear my throat again.

"Um. About Merle."  I look into his eyes. "There was um. There was a problem in Atlanta..." I play with my hands out of habit when I'm nervous. He looks around seeing everyone crowded around us. I try not to take my eyes off him because if I do. I won't be able to tell him. Realization crosses Daryl's face as he looks back into my eyes.

"He's dead?" He asks, looking at the ground.

"We're uh. We're not 100% sure." I glance at my father and back to Daryl. He looks at me madly. As if something snapped in him.

"He either is or he ain't." He says taking a dangerous step closer to me causing me to step back. That causes him to stop walking towards me. That's when dad speaks up.

"No easy way to say this, so I'll just say it." He walks up next to me.

"Who are you?" Daryl asks dad. As he takes his eyes away from me to look at my father.

"Rick Grimes." Darl's head snaps in my direction in confusion. He looks back at my father annoyed.

"Rick Grimes? You got something you want to tell me?" he spats.

"Your brother was a danger to us all. So I handcuffed him on a roof to a piece of metal. He's still there." Dad says. I see T-do walk up to the crowd with firewood in his arms.

Daryl starts pacing in front of me. "Hold on." He wipes his face. "Let me process this. You're saying, ya handcuffed my brother to a roof. And you left him there!" He yells, making his voice crack. My heart breaks in half seeing and hearing how broken he sounds. Dad nods his head.

"Yeah." His voice was full of guilt. Daryl starts breathing heavily. Getting angrier by the minute. I take a step back now standing behind my father. Which was a mistake because the second I do it. Daryl throws the rope of squirrels he was holding to my dad. Dad dodges it making the rope and squirrels hit me, knocking me down to the ground.

I hear Shane step in right away. "Hey!" He yells. While Glenn helps me up.

"You okay?" He asks, but I ignore him. Rushing back to Dad. Daryl pulls out a knife.

"Watch the knife." I hearT-dog say. Daryl starts swinging the knife towards.

"Daryl, stop!" I yell. Dad grabs his hand pushing him back making Shane grab onto him. Dad throws me the knife and I hold onto it. I see Shane grab Daryl into a chokehold.

"You best let me go!" Daryl trying to free himself.

"Nah. I think it's better if I don't." Shane responds. I try to step forward, but I'm grabbed from behind by Glenn.

"Choke Holds are illegal," Daryl grunts out. I push Glenn away from me and run up to Shane past my father.

"You can file a complaint."

"That's enough, Shane!" I catch up to them. "He just lost his brother for Christ's sake!" I yell at him, shoving him off of Daryl.

Daryls holds his neck, kneeling on the ground. Dad crouches down to his level. "I'd like to have a calm discussion on this topic." I scoff. "Do you think we can manage that?" He looks at Daryl who just ignores him. "Do you think we can manage that?" Dad repeats his question.
