Graduation Day

6:15am

Oh my goodness. Ya girl is literally about to be a graduate in a couple hours.

I'm so nervous.

I didn't even notice until today how nervous I really was.

A new journey in my life is about to begin and I have my family and friends by my side through it all.

All I pray for is new opportunities to present themselves to me.

Life has kicked my ass plenty of times and now its time I start kicking life ass!

Now all I have to do is keep aiming higher, be more patient and practice positive affirmation.

Thank god I made it this far when it was times I didn't feel like I'll make it at all.

I'm so grateful.

Taking a sticky note and writing something on it and sticking it to my bathroom mirror.

"Whatever you do, do it as if today is your last day."

I read the note aloud.

All the graduates had to be at the university before all the guest.

I made sure to leave the tickets with mom and dad so they can get into the graduation ceremony.

I just came back from getting my hair curled and touched up.

I already took a shower this morning but I decided to take another one before getting dressed.

After getting out my quick little shower, I started to do my make up and comb out my curls.

I put on my dress that I brought from the mall and paired it with clear nude heels.

My phone was blowing up today, from my friends texting me to my family blowing my phone up like we not about to be at the same place.

We all were supposed to get dressed at my house and pull up to graduation together but everybody started making different plans.

So I decided to just go alone.

I'll see them at graduation and plus we're going out to dinner afterwards with our families.

I checked my Instagram because I knew all my bitches was posting pictures and I have to show love.

I responded back to a few texts and calls while I was at it.

Grabbing my cap and gown and everything else I was out the door and on my way to the ceremony.

Pulling into the crowded parking lot where students and faculty members hurried to find parking spots and trying to get out their cars.
