Friday, June 1st (5 Days until graduation)

I stared at the clock on my phone I had 20 more minutes of my work shift. I told mom I was leaving early today because I have important things to do.

"I thought you was gone call me when you got home the other night?"

Robin said taking my train of thought off of all the shit I had to get done today.

"Dang, no hey how you doing or nothing?"

"My bad , I'm sick you hoed me though."

"My bad boo. I had to make sure me and my girls were straight."

"I understand that."

I nodded and went to make his regular.

"Here you go."

I sat the cup in front of him.

"Thanks but I didn't come here for coffee."

"What's up then?"

"I was wondering if I can take you out on a proper date tonight, you know, no friends, just me and you?"

"I'm sorry I'm really busy tonight."

"What about sometime this week?"

"I can't I'm too busy worrying about my graduation on the 6th."

"Oh yeah I forgot about that. I understand though. But you got my number send me a text when your free."

"Will do."

After Robin left I handled my last few customers in line and I was out of there!

I hopped into my truck and sped off towards the freeway.

I was on my way to the University to pick up the graduation tickets.

I don't understand why they couldn't just mail the goddamn tickets.

Wasting gas driving 30mins to this damn University.

I'm so glad this my last time having to make this trip every other day just to get to class.

I should've did online but I wanted the full college experience.

40 minutes later due to heavy traffic I finally made it to the University.

I made it to the Union Hall and proceeded to the main office.

"Hey Miss I'm here to pick up my graduation tickets."

"Last name?"

"Ross"

The lady quickly typed away on her computer.

"I see here you wanted 7 tickets their $15 each, in what form are you paying today?"

$105 for some damn tickets so my family to see me walk across a damn stage one time.
