Jean's pov

I was on an under cover mission in Marley and I went onto a train it was full but there was one seat left and it was next to a Marlian soldier

I went "excuse sir may I sit next to you"

He looked up a gave me a smile and went "sure"

I sat next to him... Something about him seemed familiar, but how, he had black hair with white strikes, it was in a man bun, he had an eye patch on but the other eye was brown and he had Freckles

He went back to staring at the window than "show me your IDs Show me your IDs"

I pulled my fake one out so did the soldier on his ID it had

Eye colour: Brown

A guy guessing the conductor had a look at the IDs

He nodded at mine but he went "Jason Bott, if that's your name, idk y your out of the rat hole"

Jason said "I explained myself I stolen it from a Paradis thug that got into the country and tried to kill me so I stole the tag for identification"

The rolled his eyes than "aye please don't bother the fellow soldier alright he was doing good by stopping that thug for our mother Marley"

The conductor nodded and went "you can stay but we are keeping an eye on you Jason"

And walked past Jason sighed with relief

I asked "so why do have a Paradis tag on you"

He pulled it out and gave it to me and my eyes were shocked of what they were seeing, it was Marco Bott's cadet Tag in 846 it went missing the military police assumed it must've been stolen and hear it is, I am in Marley and it is in my hands

I asked "how do you have this, he died five years ago"

Jason took my ID and put it to the sun before the train started moving he gave it back to me he whispered "I know that is a fake ID"

He got close to my ear he asked in a whisper "please be honest are you from Paradis"

I decided to be honest and whispered "yea I am"

He smiled with excitement he whispered "I'm trying to hold my excitement till I get to my apartment"

Jason calmed down a bit he went "I want you to calm to my apartment and all the questions you have will be answered"

I agreed to going to the apartment

He whispered to me with excitement "I can't believe your from Paradis"

Time skip to 10 mins later

We arrived at his apartment building I got off with him we walked up a few stairs than I bumped into Eren coming down stairs

Jason cheerfully said "oh hey Eren Krueger"

Eren looked at him and and smiled so "I see your still on the field Jason"

Jason nodded and went in a happy voice "well I'm currently off due to injury to the eye"

Eren had a closer look at him and he said "your freckles remind me of one of my friends who past away 5 years ago"

Jason went "oh, I'm sorry, what was his name"

Eren sighed and looked down and went "his name was Marco, Marco Bott"

Jason said in a more serious voice "well than, Eren you need to come with me"

Eren was reluctant but we followed Jason when we enter on to another floor

Jason stopped he saw the horror his face was showing we looked into his direction and one of the doors was opened

Jason said to himself "I swear I locked it"

he ran to the door we followed him and we were greeted to a huge mess of apartment Jason walked in looked everywhere frantically when he reached to his desk he sat there and balled his eyes out

I asked "what happened"
