it pained to see you smile at her,
the way you smiled at me.Today, I felt like I was just a passerby,
in your charming busy life.
The way your eyes tenderly looked at her,
while she ate her food.
The way your fingers gently
put the strands of her hair behind her ears.I wanted to hurt myself,
So I sat there and watched you two.
Luck was by your side,
being loved back by someone you love,
Equally or even more.My heart ached and begged me,
to divert my eyes,
When your lips creased hers,
ever so softly.
My hands wanted to cover my ears,
When I heard you whisper the three words,
I longed to hear.That's when I realised,
You loved her,
not me.
And that, you're never gonna love me.
