Dear Raven,
of those unfinished diary entries,
could you mind telling me it's end?
About those half-written poetries of yours,
they make complete sense to me.
Oh dear,
my fingers lay all frozen,
upon touching your grave.
And oh the lilies you loved,
stay just beside you, all dry.
Look at these flowers that grew,
beside your grave like they knew
perfectly well how much you once
adored their beauty.
My feet grows cold thinking of all
the steps I took towards you.
Oh Raven,
while I close my eyes,
you always stand there before me.
In every atom of my breath,
your fragrance lingers like a memory.
In the horde of people I come across,
my heart aches,
looking for your lost face.
Oh look Raven,
It's raining,
but these droplets of water,
search for you relentlessly.
My desire to be around you,
grows as though a vast sky.
All the times I look up,
the blue sky turn out
to be exactly the same shade as your eyes.
So often my dear,
I sit by the shore,
and the waves and i talk about you.
Your happiness that you had lost,
between the sobs of misery.
Your eyes that once glimmered with hope,
have closed forever with tears.
Each night I hope
that the dawn wouldn't remind me of you,
that they wouldn't remind me,
that your eyes that loved watching the dawn
shall never be able to see one again.
Oh dear,
I am no poet,
and this is no poem,
but i wish I was able to see
your soulful smile,
for atleast one more time.
Oh Raven,
my heart is no stone,
but if it were one,
you've grown through
the cracks of my heart
like a rooted plant.
Hey friend,
although it's all so lonely and sad without you,
but I know,
you're looking at me,
from afar like an angel.
