Dahyun POV:

The funeral hurt. It hurt more then I thought it would. It hurt more than seeing her kidnapped twice. Seeing her lifeless body hurt more than I thought it would. She still looked so blissfully unaware of any unhappiness that it hurt to see her lay in her coffin and moved down into the ground. It hurt me when everyone standing around the grave and the silence overtook. The funeral was so painful I think I need to treat myself.

There was more people than I expected there. There was her brother and his friends at the back (which was surprising), there was Keeho, Soul and Jongseob. There was Juyeon, Kevin, Sangyeon and Chanhee and a few more of their friends who was obviously just paying respects. There was Ateez there who looked too sad to handle, there was Minnie, Yuqi, Soojin and Shuhua. There was Mamamoo, Stray Kids, Purple Kiss and Big Bang (also surprising). 

There was a few of our teachers who came and went as quickly as they saw some Mafia groups. I would have laughed at their faces had one of my best friends not been murdered and buried in the same month.  There was WayV which angered me slightly but then I saw the look on Yangyang's face and calmed down, they were sort of friends too. Finally, there was T M R and Doyoung of Treasure. I let them off this once.

I noticed she had said goodbye and sorry to Doyoung so maybe he wasn't that bad, maybe he was the vegetarian among the pack of wolves. The light in a dark area, I remember her saying how he helped her. T M R confused and angered me but I felt too weak to bring it up and I felt that they were apologising too, so I let it slide. Maybe they were guilty, as they say, you get more flowers on your grave then you do normally because grief and guilt it stronger than love and friendship. 

After the funeral and going back home it was painful, for Sana more than anyone else. She asked to stay with Momo and Mina in their room as it was too soon for her to go back to her normal room and see all of Emma's stuff just lying there in their room. That would be the same for anybody going into any room of the base. And we had to do something about her apartment she abandoned for months while she stayed with us. Her parents bought it, they can deal with it. It's a shock that they didn't show up. Maybe they were too ashamed, or maybe they were in Thailand. 

I decided to write my own letter:

Emma, 

Why had you had to leave us so soon? I don't think we can cope without you. I know you'll just call us simps or sad shits and say move on with your life but I don't think we can. It's soppy I know, but, me and the girls love you too. So much more than we realised and, we're only finding that out now so it hurts a shit ton more than it should. I hope you're better and happier wherever you are. If there is an afterlife I'm hoping you get to heaven.

But who's lying? You'll probably be the queen of hell or wherever you are. I'm also glad that you never had to experience seeing any of your friends pass because trust me, it hurts like a bitch. Once again, I love you and it seems so did half the college, even your brother. However much you want to deny it, he did everything to help you because he cared, I know, I'm still unsure too.

See you again, hopefully sooner rather than later,

I then threw it into the fire and stared at the embers until it swallowed the letter whole.

A/N:

The story is finished! Wow. This is probably the longest full length story I've wrote and probably the saddest but I hope you like it :) Have a brilliant day/night and I hope that you come back to this whenever you miss a bit of Emma Wang. I loved writing it as much as I love proofreading it. I'm kinda emotional it's done and I was crying at the last two chapters not gonna lie but... Have fun with it and this has been, The Last Message.
