1st of all, Tris' mother were Dauntless but Natalie's mother told her to choose other faction because it's not safe at Dauntless that time. Once, Natalie's mother is a Dauntless Leader. She chose Abnegation and she was proud that she had 2 beautiful kids, Caleb Prior and Beatrice Prior, and a lovely husband, Andrew Prior. She is well-practiced in the art of losing herself. Beatrice thinks that her mother could be beautiful, in a different world. Her body is thin beneath the gray robe. She has high cheekbones and long eyelashes, and when she lets her hair down at night, it hangs in waves over her shoulders. But she must hide that beauty in Abnegation. I'm pretty sure that she have shown that in Dauntless. She has green beautiful eyes and cute dimpled chicks. When Natalie was at the choosing ceremony with her children,who is gonna choose, and her husband, she already knew that both of her children is not gonna pick Abnegation, and then sooner her thought was true.
