Chapter 16

I woke up in a dark room. I noticed my arms and feet are tied. Where am I? The lights turned on. I recognized this place. It's Hannah's room. "Oh, I see you're awake." she said.

"Why did you do this to me?" I asked. "Why were you talking to Daniel?" she asked, sitting on the bed. "I was just talking to him. What's wrong with that?" I said, digging into my back pocket. "Honey, I don't trust you ever since you kissed Jason." she said. I found a small sharp knife in my back pocket. I decided to cut the rope that has been tying my arm. It was hard to cut it but it was still manageable.

"You have been avoiding me, Mandy." Hannah said. "So?" I talked back. "So which means I am disappointed." she replied. I shook my head. Finally, the rope has been cut and my arms are free. I slapped Hannah on the cheek and she slapped me back. "Oh no, you didn't!" she yelled, slapping me again.

She grabbed another rope and tied my arms. "What do you want from me?!?" I yelled. "Stay away from Daniel!" she yelled back. "Okay! Just fucking untie me!" I shouted. She glared at me and began to untie me.

When my arms and legs were untied, I punched Hannah hard on the nose and started running back to my dad's place. I spotted my dad outside. I ran towards him and bursted into tears. "What happened? I was looking for you after school and you weren't there." he said, hugging me. "Hannah kidnapped me." I said, hugging back. "Hannah Mae? I know her." my dad said. I froze.

"Dad, how'd you know her?" I asked, staring at him. "Her dad and I are friends. I don't speak much to Hannah. I only talk to her dad." he said. "Can you tell her dad that Hannah kidnapped me?" I asked. He nodded. He took out his cellphone and began dialing the number.

The phone rang 3 times but it led to voicemail. "Shit." I cursed under my breath. "Honey, how about I report this to school?" my dad suggested. I nodded. We drove to school.

Soon, we came out and walked to the office. "Dad, I'm scared." I said. "Don't be scared, sweetie." he said, patting my back. "Can I speak to the principal?" my dad asked the lady. She looked like she's in her early 20's. "Sure. I'll call him for you." the lady said. She got up and walked to the principal's office.

3 minutes later, she came back. "He's waiting for you." she said. We walked to the principal's office. "How may I help you?" the principal asked my dad. "We're here to report an incident." my dad replied. "Nice to see you again, Mandy." the principal told me. I smiled in response. "What's the incident?" the principal asked. "Hannah kidnapped Mandy." my dad said. "And do you have any proof?" principal asked. I showed him my arms which has rope marks.

"I'll contact her parents and I'll try to solve the problem." the principal said. "Alright, thank you very much." my dad said. "Talk to you later." principal replied, shaking his hand. We walked out and went back home.

"Dad, can I hang out with Chandler?" I asked. "Sure, honey." he said. "Thanks, dad." I said, kissing his cheek. I texted Chandler. Here's our convo.
C=Chandler M=Mandy
M- Hey babe, can you pick me up?
C- Sure. I'll bring you something😉
M- Aww, really? What is it?
C- Can't tell you. It's a surprise.
M- I love surprises😘

I waited for Chandler to pick me up. Soon, his car came. He came out and bought me a huge box of chocolates. "Aww, Chandler." I blushed. "This is the most amazing gift ever. How did you know I love chocolate?" I asked. "Because you're my girlfriend." he replied. "Thank you." I said, hugging him. He hugged back. I set the chocolates down on the table. "Where shall we go?" he asked. "Let's go to Burger King." I said, grinning.

"Babe, how about we go to an expensive restaurant?" Chandler asked, holding my hand. "Like what?" I asked. "Chops Lobster Bar." he said. "Okay, let's go." I said, smiling. We drove to Chops Lobster Bar.

We arrived and entered the place. "Table for 2, please." Chandler said to the lady. "Right this way." the lady said. We followed the lady to our table. Our table was near the window. We sat down. "May I take your order?" the waitress asked.

(BTW, I've never been to Chops Lobster Bar so let's just skip what Mandy and Chandler are gonna order)

We got our orders and the food was delicious. "Chandler, do you have any money to pay for our food?" I asked, a little worried. He nodded. "You're so rich." I winked. "Well, I used my money for our date." he winked back. Chandler paid for the food and we drove back to my home. "I had a really fun time." I said. "Me too." he said. We stared into each other's eyes. We leaned in and our lips touched. I felt sparks. This is the best kiss ever.

We let go. "Bye." I said. "Bye, babe." he replied. I entered the house. "Had a great time?" my dad asked. I nodded. I went to the bed and fell into a deep sleep.
