*MANDY'S POV*
I woke up in a dark room. It was quiet. "Mandy." someone called. I looked everywhere to see who called my name but it was too dark.
I tried to leave but I noticed my feet and hands were tied. The lights turned on and it was Jason and my mom. "Why did you kidnapped me?" I asked. "Because you were suspended and you made my husband leave." my mother said. I looked at Jason and he gave me a disappointed look.
"Why did you break my heart, Mandy?" Jason asked. I glared at him. "I broke your heart? You're wrong. YOU broke my heart, Jason." I said.
He chuckled. "I thought you forgot about our breakup." I quietly said. "I didn't forget." Jason said.
"I'm still pissed off at you, Mandy." Jason said. He took out his belt. "A-are y-you gonna h-hit me?" I asked stuttering. He nodded. Then I felt a stinging sensation on my face. Jason hit me with his belt.
He gave his belt to my mom. "Mom, I'm so sorry. Please don't hit me. I didn't mean to make you feel angry. Please don't hit me." I apologized.
"It's too late for sorry." she said and hit me. I cried. "Let me go, please!" I begged. "If you tell anyone about this, I will kill you." Jason said. I quickly nodded. He untied me. "I'm serious, Mandy. If you tell, I'll kill you." I nodded again.
I ran out of the house. It looked like an abandoned house. I ran until I reached the park. I took deep breathes.
"Are you okay?" someone asked. It was a guy's voice. It wasn't Sam's voice. It wasn't Chandler's voice. It also wasn't my dad's voice. I turned around and saw a boy with brown hair and blue eyes. "Hi." he said. "Hello." I replied. "Did you run?" he asked. I nodded. He handed me some water. I gladly took it and drank all of it. "Who are you?" I asked, throwing the water bottle away. "I'm Grayson." he took out his hand to shake.
I shook it. "I'm Mandy." I smiled. "I know who you are. Chandler kept talking to me about you." he said. My eyes widened. Did he just say Chandler? "How do you know Chandler?" I asked. "He's my older brother." he replied. I didn't know Chandler has a younger brother.
"Oh, so where is Chandler?" I asked. "Follow me." he said. I followed him to the ice cream shop.
He pointed to Chandler. I grinned and walked to Chandler. I sat across him. "I know you met my brother Grayson." he said smiling.
I nodded. "I didn't see you at school. What happened?" he asked. I have to lie to him. If I tell him the truth, he would tell and Jason will kill me. "I was sick. I vomited." I said. Luckily, he believed me.
"Chandler, can I ask you something?" I looked at him. "Yes?" he asked. "Do you still like me?" I asked, not making eye contact.
"Yes, I still like you, Mandy." Chandler said. I blushed. Soon, Sam and Claire came holding hands. "You guys are so cute together." I said as they sat down with us. Claire smiled in response.
"Why weren't you at school?" Claire asked. "I was sick." I said. They believed me. "Chandler, mom is waiting for you." his brother Grayson said. Chandler nodded. "I'll see you all tomorrow." Chandler said. "Bye, Chandler." Claire said. "Bye, Chan." Sam said. "See you later, Chandler." I said. He nodded and left.
"What do you guys want to do?" I asked. "I want to eat ice cream. That was the reason why me and Sam entered the ice cream shop." Claire said. "So let's order ice cream." I said grinning.
Claire ordered 2 scoops of vanilla with sprinkles. Sam ordered Vanilla with marshmallow. I ordered 3 scoops of strawberry with m&m's as toppings.
"I love you, Claire bear." Sam said. "I love you too, Sammy Wammy." Claire replied. I playfully rolled my eyes and continued eating my ice cream. Suddenly, a guy with black hair and dark brown eyes wrapped his arm around Claire. I raised an eyebrow at him. "Uhh...she's taken." I said.
"Dude, she's mine! Don't touch her!" Sam yelled at him. "I love her!" the guy yelled. My jaw dropped. "Do you want to end up in the hospital?" Sam asked.
"David, leave. I don't love you anymore." Claire said to him. "How do you know him?" I asked. "He's my ex-boyfriend." Claire said. He kissed her cheek. Just then, Sam punched David. "She's mine and only mine!" Sam yelled. He kicked him.
"Stop fighting. David, I want you to leave now!" Claire demanded. He left with no response.
"Sam, I love you. I just don't want you to beat up someone." Claire said. He nodded. They leaned in and started kissing. I felt awkward standing next to them so I just walked home.
