Chapter 22

I woke up by the sound of my alarm clock. "Could you please turn that off?" Chandler asked in his morning voice. I quickly turned it off. My phone
dinged and I got a text from Austin. Here's our convo:
A- Good morning☺️😘
C- Lol, good morning to you, too.
A- I'm at Starbucks🍹 Hby?
C- At home. Getting ready to go to school.
A- I'm skipping school.
C- Seriously?😂
A- Yep.
C- I'm gonna shower. Brb.
A- But the water is cold. How can you handle cold water??
C- Maybe I'm a penguin🐧
A- Shower around noon. The water is warm in the afternoon.💦
C- Thanks for the advice✌🏻️ But I'm still gonna show in cold water.
A- I prefer hot water than cold water.
C- So you're a camel?🐪
A- I think so..
C- Bruh, you're wasting my time😜
A- Kk. Byyeee, my little penguin
C- Byee, camel🐫

I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I changed my clothes and ate breakfast. Then, I brushed my teeth and tied my hair into a ponytail.

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar. "Babe, I don't think I can go to school today." Chandler said, coughing. "Why?" I asked, worried. "I'm sick." he replied. I touched his forehead. "Your forehead is heating up. Stay in bed. I'll buy you some medicines after school." I said.

He nodded. I brushed my teeth and walked to school. "There's the bitch!" Claire yelled. Everyone looked at me and laughed. "Where's Chandler? Did he see your ugly face?" Claire asked. "No. He didn't want to come to school because he's sick." I replied.

"Yeah. He's sick of your face." Claire said. I glared at her. "Hun, that glare won't stop me from bullying you." Claire said and she walked away. I rolled my eyes.

"Mandy, are you okay?" Katlyn asked, walking towards me. I nodded. "Yeah, I'm used to it." I said. She patted my back. "Where's Chandler?" Katlyn asked. "At home. He's sick." I replied.

"Oh. Well, I have a party tonight. I was wondering if you could come." Katlyn said. "Sure. I'll try to invite Chandler, too." I replied. She grinned. "Great." she said, handing me 2 invitations. The bell rang. "See you later, Mandy!" Katlyn said, walking away.

I went to my classroom. I sat on my desk. "Bitch." I heard someone say. Claire. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME?" I shouted, making everyone look at our direction. "A bitch!" Claire shouted back.

"Both of you, go to the principal's office now." the teacher demanded. I sighed and walked to the principal's office with Claire. "What did you girls do?" the principal asked. "Um...nothing." I gulped.

"Don't lie to me." the principal said with a serious face. "Well, Claire started it." I said, loudly. "She called me a bitch." I said. "Is it true?" the principal asked Claire. She nodded. "Mandy, you can get back to class. Claire, come with me." the principal said. I smiled and walked back to class.

SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL

I walked to the store and bought medicines for Chandler. I saw Shanae, the slutty cashier. "Um...aren't you supposed to be in Walmart?" I asked her. "No." she said, rudely. "Oh. Did the boss fire you?" I asked, plastering a fake smile. She rolled her eyes. "Shut the fuck up!" she yelled.

"Why are you buying medicines?" she raised an eyebrow. "None of your business." I replied. "The amount is $10.50." I gave her the money. "Bye, bitch." Shanae said. I took the medicines and rolled my eyes. I walked back home.

I saw Chandler lying on the bed. I handed him the medicines. "Thanks, babe." Chandler said. I smiled in response. I touched his forehead. "That's strange. Your forehead isn't heating up." I said. "Mandy!" Grayson called from the kitchen. "Coming!" I went to the kitchen.

*Chandler's POV*
I put the medicines on the counter. I changed into a tuxedo and called for a limo. I was pretending to be sick. I used a blow dryer to heat up my forehead. I told Grayson to keep Mandy busy while I get everything ready. I looked out the window and saw the limo. I combed my hair.

Mandy came in. She gasped when she saw me. Her mouth opened. "Damn, you look hot!" she said. "Thank you. Get ready, babe." I replied, kissing her cheek. I walked to the limo. 5 minutes later, Mandy came to me. My eyes widened. She was wearing a red sparkly dress with red high heels. She curled her hair and made a waterfall braid.

"You look so damn sexy." I said, biting my lip. "Thank you." she blushed. "Shall we?" I asked. "We shall." she said. We linked arms and entered the limo. "Woodfire Grill." I said to the driver.

"We're going to Woodfire Grill?" Mandy asked. I nodded. We went to Woodfire Grill. The limo stopped and I opened the door for Mandy. She smiled and we walked to the restaurant. We sat down on a table. "May I take your order?" the waitress asked.

(Honestly, I haven't been to Woodfire Grill so I'll just make up Mandy and Chandler's order.)

"I'll have the fried lobster." I ordered. "And I'll have the shrimp." Mandy ordered. The waitress nodded and we waited for our food. Once our food came, we ate. We walked back home and went on the bed.

"Goodnight, babe." I said, closing my eyes. "Goodnight, honey." she replied. I fell into a deep sleep.

I know this chapter is short:( I have tests next week and I need to study because my mom expects me to have a good grade😒 But I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Next week, I'll make the chapter long because I won't be having tests on that week. Love ya'll so much. Bye, cuties😊
