"Lorena, Lorena! Wake up!" With one eye still shut, I saw Casey over me trying to wake me up. "Get up you've been here for hours!"
I sat up from bed and took a look around. My vision was blurred, I felt around under the blanket and realized my dress was off. When I sat up i wrapped the cover around my chest. "Where am I?"
"We're still at Messiah's house? Party's been over for about 4 hours now but I stayed just to make sure you're okay. I guess they brought you up here to lay down until the alcohol wears off. Feeling any better?"
"Yeah, my head hurts a little and my thighs are SO sore. Where's Aaliyah?" I looked around for my dress and saw it on the floor right beside me. "Reach me my clothes?" I said. I got up from bed and stretched my legs out a little. My legs felt like I just finished a marathon, it wasn't easy to stand on them.
"You probably fell lastnight or something, and she's downstairs with messiah they're cleaning up the mess from last night. You wanna go?" I nodded my head and she helped me limp down the stairs. The first couch I saw was the one I sat on, then stretched my legs over the arm rest. Aaliyah was in the front porch picking up red solo cups from the ground while Messiah swept the hardwood floor. Casey brought me a cup of coffee then sat besides me. "Girl you was drunk as hell last night! I tried dancing with you and you were just everywhere trying to stand up straight! Do you even remember anything that happened?"
"The last thing I remember is being on the couch and drinking a cup of water. I don't know if I blacked out or passed out or what but the next thing I remember is you waking me up. No wait, I was in the bedroom and Messiah was there standing infront of his closet. He asked if I was done sleeping but I don't remember if I replied or not. Then you woke me up." I took small sips of my coffee in between each sentence.
"That's some crazy shit girl, so you feel good now right? No more drunk Lorena?" Just as I was about to answer Aaliyah walks in through the front door and sits in the couch across from us. "About time you wake up." She says dryly. I didn't know if it was because Casey was here or if she had a bad night but she never talked to me like that before. Either way I went along with it.
"Um yeah, I just woke up. When are we leaving?" It was probably rude of me to say that but I didn't care, I wanted to just go home and take a hot bath. My abdomen was starting to hurt the more i slouched I over.
"Soon, after we're done cleaning up." Not once did she look up from her phone when she spoke. What the hell was wrong with her? She was being rude and dry as hell. I ignored it though, cause I'll deal with her later.
"You liked the drinks from last night?" Said Messiah from the kitchen. He brought over an empty glass bottle then handed it to me. Karen was on the front of it. "It's totally brand new, just came out like yesterday or the day before. You liked it?"
I didn't know if I felt guilt and regret or I was just getting ready to throw up, but my insides were turning and my stomach knotted up. I couldn't believe this. I was drinking my fiancés new sponsored drink and didn't even know? Then again, I didn't know anything that happened last night.
"I'll be back" i said. I went upstairs to get my phone, hopefully Karen hasn't gone crazy already from not receiving no calls or messages from me. I checked, no notifications. This must be wrong, im positive i called AND texted her last night so she should've already replied. I decided to just call and see what was up with her.
Ring... Ring...
"Hello?"
"Karen im so sorry I was busy yesterday, running errands and I fell asleep and omg yesterday was all types of crazy im truly sorry."
