"Oh, Russ, Kendall." Mom and Dad greeted us when we got home. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kylie is also there.
I also hugged them after I hugged my parents and they were surprised. As you can see we've always been fighting and now I just hugged them like this again. Maybe for the last time.
We started eating as soon as the dishes were placed on the table. These were all dishes that mom cooks when we all gather together.
"Scott, Russ.. there are still shrimps in the kitchen ha. Please eat more." Mom said to Russ and Scott. Coincidentally, they both have the same favorite shrimp dish, butter garlic.
The sound of laughter followed by the sound of the glass breaking suddenly filled the room and we all immediately turned to the source of the sound.
"Northy, I told you to hold the glass properly while drinking water." Kim tells North because she broke the glass she was holding earlier.
"Uncle Russ was making funny faces at me so I accidentally dropped the glass." North answered, looking at Russ who had a small smile on his face.
"Do you have plan to adopt? (Quick reminder Kendall is barren here sorryy) We're waiting for our grandchild. You guys have been together for four years right? You guys can have children already. Your mom and I are getting older." Dad said while looking at me and Russ. I can already feel the tears forming in my eyes because I know we can't do that anymore.
Russ and I talked about adopting because I was barren, married or not. We promised that once we reach our 5th anniversary and we're settled, we'd build a family.
We even promised that she would be named Solana. Solana was supposed to our sunshine when Russ and I feel lost. Solana was supposed to be our bright sunshine. Solana was supposed to be the only thing we could trade sunsets for. Our Sunshine.
I also knew back then, Russ wanted to. We are at the right age and have a good job. He was always so consistent in giving me signals that he already wants our Solana to come home.
