Chapter 34: war

Xavier's POV

She's been gone for two weeks. Two fucking weeks and I'm going mad. I was going to announce to the pack that my dad and mom handed down the Alpha and Luna tittle to me and Harper after she came back from her trip but she never came back!

I didn't trust Isabel, Harper knew that but she insisted that they were best friends and nothing was wrong so I listen.

Flash back to two weeks ago

"If you can't tell me where we are going, can you tell me when we're there? Like how many minutes?" Harper asked. I attached a camera to the front of the car that they were taking. It was video taping the way they went the whole time. It made me nervous because of how long they were driving because that means they are probably out of state or something.

"Two." Isabel said plainly.

"Two?"

"Two."

I see a large house as they pull into the drive way, part of me believes that Isabel was just trying to surprise them but I know that's not it because her mate died not long ago and she's not upset, she seems completely fine, also part of the reason why I put a camera on the car.

"Ho..ly.. cow. I already love this house." I heard harpers voice say in awe.

"Your going to love the person in the house even more. He's been waiting for you."
Once that left Isabel's mouth I felt my blood run cold and I sucked in a hard breath.

"Wha-" Harpers voice said but was cut off followed my muffling sounds. I let out a shaky breath.

I heard more movement and Harper struggle.

"Goodnight Harper." Isabel said.

After a few seconds of silence somebody spoke up.

"I'm going to kill you." my mate whispered.

Flashback over

I shivered at the memory. I feel like my heart has been ripped into two pieces and Harper has the other piece. I know that sounds stupid and cliche but it's true. I would have followed her by her sent but because I marked her and we mated, her sent smells like mine.

I've been breaking down more and more each day, hour, and second.

I heard the door slam open and I quickly turned around to see who did it.

"Alpha, they found her." My beta Cole said. His mate Emma showed up yesterday, she was kidnapped along with Harper but she escaped. I yelled at her for not bringing Harper with her but she had said that she looked for her everywhere but could not find her, she was injected with silver so it took away her smelling temporarily.

I was out of my chair in a second and out the door mind linking my warriors and my dad to come outside and shift into their wolf. Together we all add up to 600 warriors and my dad.

"Cole I want you to lead the way and bring us there." I said before shifting into my large black wolf and following after Cole.

After 5 hours of running, we finally got there. I could see the large house I saw in the video very faintly. My wolf howled inside of me knowing Harper was in there against her will.

'Okay boys, if some of you do not make it in this fight I swear to not forget you, neither will any of the pack members. In this fight, we are to only kill the wolves who get in our way, we are not here to kill we are here to get your Luna. We also kill no children. Anyway You are the best warriors an Alpha could have and none of you will be forgotten, if some of you don't make it, we will have a celebration in your remembrance. Thank you for all you do for the pack and best of luck all though you won't need it. lets go.' I mind linked the pack.
