"What the hell was that all about?" I questioned as I took off my heels, sighing a bit as my toes touch the cold penthouse floor.

Aiden had been tense ever since we left the estate. He hadn't spoken a single word since the car ride here then dragged me up here after I took too long to get all my stuff off the car.

"You can take the room, I'll sleep in the living room." He finally spoke, but he had averted my question completely. "All your luggage as already been sent up, along with–"

I cut him off by walking away as a silent, "Whatever. I
felt his hand grasp at my arm as he turned me around. "What the fuck is your problem?"

"I don't like your fucking attitude, Nicole." He finished off. I froze when I hear him say my name.

His angry waves hit at me, growing my fuelling anger. It turned me on.

"And yet, I don't care. I've been trying to talk to you all night and when you finally open your mouth, it's on fucking sleeping arrangements?" I asked.

He glanced at me as I yanked my out of his hold. He scoffed as he gladly let go

"I'm not doing this." He mumbled to himself as he took his jacket that was once placed on the couch and walked towards me, well the cars keys that were on the counter behind me.

He expected me to move out the way once he got close enough, but I stayed frozen.

He scoffed once again, obviously irritated by my little antics as his whole front pressed against me as he reached for his keys.

I looked up at him from my position. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"It's none of your fucking business." He sneered as he moved back, finally meeting my eyes.

His scowl slightly disappeared as he looked at me.

"so as I suspected..." I folded my arms in front of my chest. "Back to Simona."

He chuckled slightly as he leaned in. "As I said, It's none of your fucking business." He looked at me one last time before leaving.

I huffed out a sigh, struggling to come to terms about how he wasn't actually mine.
