Chapter 3 • Loud cries •

Madelein shot up from her sleep as gunshots rang through the air. She ran out the door with a gun in her hand. The first thing she thought of was her son. His shrieks brought tears to her eyes. "Seth, where are you!?"

She whipped around with the gun firmly in her hand as she listened to a door open right behind her. She waited to see who would step out. "Fuck, Theo you scared me!"

"What's going on? Are we under attack?"

Another scream went into the air. "It's Seth!"

Theodore grabbed her hand, "Come on, its coming from Daniel's office."

They rushed through the dark as Theodore led them to the office, constantly bumping into things on the way.

"I told you to stay away. Look at you now, bleeding out." Madelein's face turn sour as she recognized voice just as they reached the study.

Once they finally reached the study, both of them were shocked to see the scene. Madelein let out a cry after seeing her son lying on the ground, gripping onto his leg as blood oozed out. Basically covering his entire body. "Seth!" She screeched before running off
to her son.

Theodore ran right after, knocking Nicole over in on the way. Nicole scoffed just as she got up. She glanced over to them as they tried to carry and help Seth.

Madelein quickly caught her eyes and returned it with a glare. "You evil bitch, what have you done!"

Nicole simply rolled her eyes, unsympatheticly. Ready to walk out the room, she turned on her heel and marched towards the door.

"Nicole stop!" Her uncle's thunderous voice made way to her eers, stopping her midway.

She turned around and watched as her uncle stomped towards. Then, before she could blink a hard hand landed on her cheeks, whipping her head to the side as tears covered her view.

She slowly turned her glaze back to her uncle only to see him stare down at her in disappointed.

"Theo get help!" Madelein yelled from behind them.

"Get out of the way." He said in a low growl, pushing her out of the way.

Theodore made his way towards the door, "Guards! Get in here!" He yelled.

At this point Nicole's head was spinning. The man she considered a second father raised his hand to her for someone they've only known for two years. She couldn't take it anymore. She felt betrayed. Putting all her thoughts aside, she did the only thing that came to mind. She ran. She ran past her uncle, squeezing through all the guards on their way to the office. Entering her room with tears rolling down her check, she locked her and let out a loud cry. The cry was so loud it was heard throughout the mansion.

She didn't care at all. All she was taught was to be strong, to show no weakness. Her father always reminded her of this, but her father was no longer with her.

Madelein watched as the guards carried her son away. "Sweety, you'll be okay!" She yell as they made a turn towards towards the exit

Madelein was furious. Tears of frustration rolled down her eyes as she cursed into the air. She felt Theodor's firm hand on her back as it moved in small circles. She turned towards him and through her arms towards him, letting out a small whimper just as Theodor's arms circled around her body, returning the hug.

"Theo, you said you would get rid of her. Look at what she's done to my baby." She added with a defeated voice.

"And we okay, I promise you." Theo acknowledged with a comforting tone.

Madelein pulled away with a frown. "You've been saying that for years, now. I thought it would've become easier with Daniel died. If You don't do it it, I will."

Madelein turned away and moved around the desk to get her gun, right next to the pool of blood. She leaned down to pick it up when something caught her eye under the desk. A paper?

"Come on, I'll walk you to your room." Theodore suggest.

"Wait, I think I found something." She said as she struggled to get it in reach.

She finally got it into to her. She held the paper in front of her face before reading it.

Theodore watched as her face changed emotion while her eyes scanned through the paper, later leaving a deadly smirk on her face that sent shivers down his spine. "What is it?"

Madelein handed him the paper, "We've got her."

Guys, I really thought we would meet him. I was really hoping for it. Because Im sure y'all are tired of the family drama. I sure am. I honestly can't wait for us to meet the major asshole of the story.

But definitely the next chapter.
