HIS GIFT.

The morning after

I felt like I had laid there for hours, crying my tears behind unheard as my body lay in the same position. Pain all over my body, my back felt like it had open wounds while my arms, legs and back were covered in bruises. I had tried to stand the pain, my body screaming at me to stop when I heard the office door slam open and my body went still, the beast had come back for more and this time I didn't think my body could take it.

"WHERE IS SHE?" I heard the Alpha shout and my body slightly relaxed and then tensed realising it was the same person, the beast lived inside of him.

"Calm down Nixon, we have all the wolves looking for her. She probably just found a really good hiding spot. No body has been found." I heard Alpha Luna say.

"She can't just fucking disappear Luna." I heard him growl in annoyance, who were they talking about. My body was too afraid to move with the possibility his wolf could take over again.

"Nixon we will find her, Esme she's strong." I heard Alpha Luna say before I heard shuffling around the room and a grunt from the alpha. After hearing the shuffling and the door slam to the office I listened for movement and realised they had left. I sighed I needed to move, I stood up on my legs my body screaming in pain, luckily I still had my outfit on I had a little bit of dignity left. I slowly walked towards the bookcase opening the door.

I gasped the office was a mess, glass shattered everywhere, furniture upside down and the windows smashed. These beasts were monsters. I walked out carefully not to stand on any glass and hurt myself further, I walked out the door my vision blurred feeling my wounds on my back bleed. I walked down the hallway having to hold the wall or I would fall into darkness. I stopped taking a deep breath when I heard footsteps behind me, my body going stiff, my mind going crazy and my breathing coming out in gasps. "Esme" I heard and it was my worst nightmare, beta George had found me in my weakest state. "What the hell happened to you?" He said holding me up off the wall, it wasn't a hard grip more like a soft one which made me whimper. "Are you alright?" I heard him say and he positioned me so he was looking at my face, he must have seen my frightened look and he looked confused.

"Who did this?" He questioned. I didn't answer, just tears came rolling down my eyes - I was weak and in this state he could do as he pleased. I already felt broken. He picked me up bridal style being ever so gentle and walked down the stairs, I didn't trust him. He walked somewhere I was too busy trying to stop myself going into darkness blinking fast as my head spun. "Alpha, I've found her." I heard his chest vibrate and a gasp left someone's mouth.

"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO HER." I heard Alpha Luna say, she walked towards me and I tensed further if possible. I moved my head noticing Alpha Luna walking towards us with worry evident on her face, she took me off him lying me down on the floor, my head in her lap. She looked up in anger taking over her face and her teeth baring at him.

"I found her walking down the Alpha corridor." He said, holding his hands up in surrender and baring his neck in respect for her. She looked down at me confused, taking over her face before I heard his growl, it echoed off the walls and I whimpered hoping his beast was not in control.

"WHERE IS SHE?" I heard him shout and I pushed myself further into Alpha Luna's lap, she looked down confused then back at the seething Alpha that had just walked in the room. She sniffed me and then her eyes looked at me in sympathy. She knows.

"Nixon stop." She said looking up at him, I looked from the corner of my eye and there he was storming towards me with anger, confusion and worry in his face. He stopped looking at Alpha Luna before he growled at her; she had dared keep him away from his claimed one. As he got closer to us I whimpered my body petrified that his actions would repeat. "Nixon I said stop." She used her Alpha command and he stopped in his spot confusion taking over his face before he looked at my battered body and anger took over. He looked towards his Beta.

"Talk." He said and his Beta explained again that he had found me in the Alpha's corridor. He explained the claw marks on my back and Alpha Luna moved me, gasping at the claw marks that marked my skin.

"Who did this to you?" Alpha Luna asked as the Alpha got closer, my heart beating heavy, my breaths coming out in pants darkness wanting to take over. I had a feeling she already knew my answer. I sat up trying to compose myself, the Alpha reaching me and I shuffled away. He looked hurt and stepped forward again.

"That's enough Nixon." Alpha Luna said, this only made him more mad. "What happened Esme?" She asked me again. She watched as I struggled for breath before my eyes set on the alpha and her question was answered and I passed out my body no longer being able to fight.
