"TOMMY" I screamed into my phone as soon as he answered my facetime call
"Y/N" matching my energy
"so you know how you said you've never been to a teenage party before..." instantly knowing what he's going to say

"okay well tamsin is having a party this weekend to try and impress a boy and she really needs my help with like decorating and getting ready and actually at the time that the party is going on and I promised her I would go to her party and help her with everything anddddd she said you could come!!!" trying to make the last part more upbeat to show my excitement "soooo can you please please go?"

"WHY NOT IT WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN PLEASE JUST DO IT FOR ME"

"bye y/n" creating butterfly's in my stomach from hearing him say my name why is this happening to me... surely I don't like tommy like that... no. There's absolutely no way he's my best friend.
"BYE" and just like that the call had ended and I took a deep sigh. I was confused about my feelings towards tommy, ofc he was my best friend and I couldn't change that for the world but do friends really get flustered over something they say or do? I don't know, I would hate to ruin our friendship and there is no chance in hell i would ever confess if it did turn out that I had some sort of feelings for him. I tried to shake my head as if it was shaking the thought of tommy and my feelings out of me, but i only sat there shaking my head for around 5 mins like an idiot.

Me and my other best friend polly and tamsin had just been walking around the playground at dinner time as we had nothing to do, only just having conversations with the popular boys. Polly my best friend and she had been for the past 3 years, we spent most of our time together and with tamsin along side of us.
