Recently schools been getting harder and harder as the days go by. Exams are coming up and my teachers are expecting a lot from me. I never dealt well with pressure or with exams in general. In the past I've have often freaked out about a test and refused to do it, it was never my proudest moment. But I was trying my best to remain calm as I really wanted to do well this time. I wanted to prove my father wrong, he was never a massive part of my life as it seemed he never wanted to be. However, he would ways say how I would never be able to fit in at school as my school was known to be where all the smart kids go. He thought I wasn't a smart kid. I almost believed him but my mum never did for even one second, and he taught me to not listen and to prove him wrong. Not only did I want to do that but I wanted to make my mum, my older sister and my teachers proud. I know not all teachers would care too much but I knew of a few who were praying for me not to freak out.

"y/n. Are you actually going to revise?"

"yes of course. I'm not stupid. Well I am, but that's why I'm revising" I said to Tamsin and Poll, holding a mountain of revision books in my hand, we were stood in the middle of the play ground. I felt a tap of my shoulder and I turned around to see Kyle

"hey, wanna revise with me after school?" I took a deep sigh, I had decided to forget everything in the past and atleast give him a change to be friends

"uhhh sure"

"cool, my place. Meet outside of your last class"

"you don't know my last class ?"

"I know everything" he winked before leaving. I laughed it off, guessing the wink was a joke.  I turned back to my original position to be greeted again by Tamsin and Polly but this time they had their mouths wide open.

"what?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT? HE TOTALLY FANCIES YOU STILL. Now that Tommys out of the picture maybe you should give kyle a go" my body tensed at his name but the thought of kyle quickly consuming my thoughts. I thought back to a couple seconds before when he had winked at me, and his smile made me smirk to myself a little. I guess it wouldn't harm to see where things would go with kyle

"yeah maybe" Tamsin and Polly had started screaming in excitement for me. They were my number 1 supporters.

"Where are you going to study?" Polly asked

"Maybe his house, definitely not mine"

"why not yours?"

"I'm not letting him anywhere near my house. Just yet"

"fair enough" Tamsin said in agreement

"OMG YOUR GOING TO HIS HOUSE" polly couldn't have said louder

"omg shut up and I don't know for definite"

"what are you gonna wear!?"

"shut up" I said half joking and left to go to class as the bell had saved me from Polly and Tamsin getting anymore time to get inside of my head to stress me out for tonight. What should I wear? oh whatever.

"hey, you found me" I said coming out of last class and to be met with kyle waiting for me

"Of course, I could never loose you"

"where are we going to study?"

"mine"

"okay, lead the way." and he was on his way "ladies first" I joked and he laughed

"fuck yourself"
