When Alice wakes up the sleeping bag is cold beside her, and when she stretches out an arm FP is nowhere to be found. She stretches out her arms and groans, the noisy clanging of pots outside not the most pleasant sound to wake up to.
She kicks aside the blankets and unzips the tent, stepping out into the sunlight. "Look who's finally awake." FP teases.
"Kinda hard not to be when you two are making more noise than should be humanly possible." She garbles, forcing her eyes to stay open.
"No kidding!" Hermione barks from her tent. "Some of us would like to sleep."
"Sorry princess." FP calls. "We've got coffee though."
"Coffee?" Alice perks up at the mention.
"I've got ya." FP chuckles, pouring some into a paper cup for her.
She brings the cup to her lips and takes a long sip, her face instantly contorting in disgust before spitting it back out. "That is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. It tastes like fish!" She cringes as the aftertaste lingers.
"Like fish?" FP scoffs, chuckling.
"Don't believe me? Try it."
He raises an eyebrow at her, not one to back down from a challenge. He takes a sip and holds it in his mouth as he fights back a gag reflex. "Freddie what the hell did you do to it?"
"Nothing!" He insists. "I just bought it on my way to grab you two yesterday, I filled up the pot with some water from the lake and heated it over the fire-"
"You used lake water?" Alice's eyes widen. "You're supposed to filter that first! Even then it's questionable."
"Well how was I supposed to know!" Fred gapes, not expecting to be yelled at so early in the morning.
"It's lake water! Fish, worms, snakes, mud-"
"Not to mention the amount of people who have probably bathed in there or used it as a bathroom." FP adds.
He cringes. "Okay okay, I get it, give me a break."
"I am seriously going to kill you guys." Hermione growls as she bursts out of her tent, hair disheveled and messy from sleep. "I just wanted an extra hour of sleep but nooo."
Alice clenches her teeth. "You want some coffee, Mione?"

"I'm out." Fred huffs bitterly, tossing his hand onto the folding table. They had busted into an intense game of poker over an hour ago, betting everything and anything they could think of, even random things like a rock or a twig.
Hermione debates he'd hand for a moment before sighing in defeat. "I am too."
"Down to Jones and Smith," Fred chuckles mischievously. "Who will win?"
"Me." FP states cockily.
Alice rolls her eyes. "In your dreams Forsythe."
"I'm on FP's team." Hermione declares. "I'm rooting for him."
Alice gapes. "Why him?"
"Because he didn't knowingly give me fish water coffee unlike you." She narrows her eyes at the blonde who chuckles, still impressed Hermione had fallen for it. Surely with how loud she was complaining they were, she would have heard the coffee ordeal.
