" Moana! Make way, make way!" Off tune singing, the smell of cookies and coffee, and the warmth of a blanket were what I woke up to. I groaned as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I felt better then I've felt in a while as I had finally got a sustainable amount of sleep. I looked around and spotted Percy in the kitchen, a bowl in hand as she stirred to the music playing in the background.

I couldn't help but smile as I watched her sing and dance to the music.

I looked to the side to see she had gone out and gotten me a coffee. I smiled as I took the still warm drink. I quickly took a sip before standing up and walking over to the kitchen.

" oh morning sleepy head! I hope the couch was comfortable!" Percy greeted, her hair was up in a ponytail revealing a white streak going through her hair, kinda like Jason's. I was curious about it but decided to leave it to fashion choices.

"It was great Percy, thanks" I smiled before she grabbed my hand and dragged me into the kitchen.

She opened her pantry to reveal a ton of Aprons. She took an apron out that was all grey aside from a gold owl that looked to be masterfully hand sown into the piece of cloth.

"Here, usually my friend wears it but since you two are just about the same height I'm sure it'll work." She shoved the apron on over my head.

"There now you're ready to help me!" I quickly tied the back of my apron before she handed me the bowl that was in her hand. Almost immediately the alarm for the oven went off and she quickly grabbed a glove and shoved it on over her hand before she reached in and took the warm cookies out. She set the hot pan on top of the stove before turning back to me.

"Alright! Training! You stir and I'll do everything else alright?" I nodded before she got to work making another batch.

"So did you even sleep last night?" I asked, trying to make small talk.

"Oh uh, yeah for a couple hours I guess" I knew she lied to me. She didn't even try to hide that one.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Oh I uh..." she paused before resuming " I had some pretty bad nightmares, they kinda kept me up for a while" this time it was true and I couldn't help but feel bad as I had slept so peacefully. "Hey don't be upset though! It happens a lot so I've gotten pretty good at staying awake at wacky hours. Feel free to shoot me a text, who knows you may get lucky you know!"

I smiled and nodded. Once she finished making the next batter she took the bowl I had away and handed me the new one. She quickly rolled them into balls before setting them on a pan and shoving them into the oven. She took the other now cooled cookies and put them on the plate on the table outside the kitchen.

That's how our routine went all day, she'd hand me new bowls and I'd stir while she'd do everything else. Occasionally she'd let me do something else or choose the music but for the most part we just had a good day talking and making cookies.

"Last batch! You ready!" Percy turned to face me, a determined look on her face. This look quickly faded as it turned to laughter.

"What? Do I got something on my face?" I asked. She nodded and this is when I noticed the bits of cookie dough in her hair, on her clothes and face as well. I couldn't help but crack up a bit as well.

We laughed for a bit before she quickly walked over to me and reached her hand up, wiping some dough off of my forehead. I felt my face heat up a bit before she turned back around to start the next batch.
