Chapter 17: Plane Fight

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU SO BAD!" I was trying to resist Levi from bursting forward with all my strength: "I'M GONNA RIP YOU TO SHREDS YOU HEARD ME!"

"Eren, w-why?" I was trying to control my anger as much as I can: "Why?"

"Sorry, Armin." He took out his rifle: "I loved Mikasa, but she'll know about this sooner or later. I had to do it."

The battle has begun as he sprayed the bullets in our direction as all of us try to hide behind objects in the airbase.

Eren then threw a smoke grenade that contained poisonous gas as some of our troops were starting to take effect.

"COVER YOUR NOSES!" Hange instructed before scanning around the area: "ARMIN, YOUR TEAM GO TO RACHEL (Flank Right), HALF OF KPF GO TO LEONARD (Flank Left)! THE REST STAY PUT!"

"Roger! Levi, Jean, Connie, let's go!" We ducked as we pointed from all 4 directions.

There was no footsteps nor noise made besides the 4 of us. Our vision was blurred due to the smoke and we could even barely see ourselves.

Out of the blue, Connie yelled in agony and collapsed on the floor: "UGH!"

"CONNIE, WHAT'S WRONG?"

"JUST GOT FUCKING HIT ON THE STOMACH!"

"HANGE-SAN! I'M GONNA START RANDOMLY SPRAYING COS WE CAN'T SEE JACKSHIT, TRY TO HIDE BEHIND ANYTHING FOR SAFETY! GET THOSE LESS EXPERIENCED ONES OUT OF HERE!"

"ALRIGHT! GUYS, ALL TRY TO COVER AND EVACUATE IF POSSIBLE!" She instructed while barely gasping for air: "ARMIN YOU NEED TO DO THIS FAST! THIS SMOKE CAN KILL!"

"I KNOW!" Covering my nose with a cloth, I scanned around the area to see even Jean get knocked out.

What the hell?

"ARMIN, BEHIND YOU!"

It was from Levi and as I turned around, Eren was wearing a gas mask with his right arm holding a bullet shield as I got smacked in the face with it.

Levi cocked his weapon and sprayed it right straight to Eren who blocked it nicely with his shield.

So the smoke grenade was for him to get ready his gear, a nice distraction indeed.

I can't call the rest in it's too risky, only the PSDU is trained in this kind of situation and Connie and Jean are already taken out.

Hange-san's probably still on the battlefield and the airforce is dealing with the Kranese hideout.

I have to deal with Eren together with my team.

Eren was about to shoot the rifle as I slammed his chin with my rifle butt, grabbed his one and flung it away.

Continuously spraying the rifle at him, he was blocking it with his shield which concluded that there's only one way to defeat him.

Fists.

I gathered with Levi as we threw punches and kicks onto the Yeager who was leading our way to his rifle on the floor.

I ain't stupid, you're just tryna get to to your rifle.

Levi was more aggressive than usual which was understandable as he swung his legs down to trip Eren but he managed to slam the shield hard on his ankles and made him groan in pain.

As Eren reached for the rifle, I pushed him onto the other side and swing my fists straight at him, but he blocked it, pinned me down and strangled my neck.

"You fool!"

Levi whose ankles got broken took his rifle, pruned down and sprayed it straight at Eren who then hold me up to defend himself.
