Armin's POV

"I'm sorry Armin, this is my revenge..."

"Wait, Annie! Come back! I can't leave you again!"

"AHH!" Opening my eyes in an instant and getting up, my head felt very heavy as though I was hit by a brick. My vision was still a little blurry and I gazed around my surroundings.

"You're awake." Connie gasped before hitting on my shoulders: "Thank god."

"W-What happened?"

Still looking confused, I realised I was in a Land Rover with Levi operating the vehicle and Jean in front too.

"Your awake huh?" Levi snarled: "Made me worried you fool."

"What happened?" I was still muddled: "How was I knocked out?"

I couldn't remember any events that happened after saving Annie from the explosion.

Hold up, where's Annie?

Looking around, there were only 4 passengers in the Land Rover including me. There was no sign of my childhood friend.

"We found you lying unconscious at the other side of our border. Hange informed us that the red marker was still active and we had to chase after it. How did you even manage to place onto that douche?"

Right! I was the one who inserted back the device onto Annie before she left.

Right, she left.

"I just bumped onto her and it was a familiar sighting. I was sure it was her."

"Damn it, and I thought all of them were eliminated."

"You're quite a lucky fella." Jean sighed: "At least you're okay. Levi, how long do we have?"

"In about 10 more minutes, we'll arrive. Watch out for enemies when we exit."

"Seems like you're the one giving command now huh?" I mocked.

"For now, you're barely awake. What a pain for me to take charge."

Annie's POV

Eren Yeager, the founder of Muskan, stood right in front of me calmly.

No weapon, no armour, nothing. It was just him with a black and oversized jacket.

"I was expecting to see you here, now that I've done what you've ordered, do you mind letting me board the plane?"

"Do you think my plan was just to eliminate my entire organisation aside from you?" Eren tucked his hands onto his pocket: "Do you even know the reason why I've ordered you to destroy the organisation that I've built from scratch?"

"..."

"That's because my minions weren't clever enough to know a spy has been working with us all this time. I'm disappointed, especially Reiner. To even have some sort of trust on that prick."

"Oh if you're wondering." Yeager snarled: "I didn't ask Armin and he didn't tell me during his tenure as the captain. When we went back to his school for some presentation he mentioned about you being his childhood friend and that you were the one who made him strong blah blah blah. Cringe. Hence I decided to make my decision during the battle in Orvud. If you had killed Armin back then it'll ensure your loyalty towards us. But no, you left him alive, for 3 times. Orvud, Shinganshina and at the park."
