"Everyone, shush!" you shouted and placed your index finger over your lips. Everyone turned their heads towards you and became quiet. "She's almost here, so get to your hiding spots!"

You had planned a surprise birthday party for Scarlett since it was her birthday. Brie had agreed to take her out and pretend that she didn't know it was her birthday, so you could fix everything back at the house.

Everyone got to their hiding spots, except for you who went to the kitchen and placed yourself where you had planned. You had your own little surprise for her and it did come in a good time for her birthday. You heard the door open, along with Scarletts voice.

"I can't believe you don't know what day it is!" you heard her scold Brie. You giggled quietly but had to cover your mouth so she wouldn't hear you. "And why are the lights off?"

"Surprise!" you heard everyone shout as the lights got turned on.

"Oh my god!" you heard Scarlett shout and you smiled. "So wait- you didn't- you knew about this?"

"Of course I knew you dork. Why do you think I took you out?" you heard Brie. "You don't think I actually forgot your birthday?"

"Yeah that makes sense." you heard then it got quiet for a second. "Where is Y/N?"

"Here, come on." you heard the voice of Cobie. Since the lights were off in the kitchen, you saw how Cobie's and Scarlett's shadows appeared.

"Where is she?" Scarlett asked Cobie who stood beside her after they had turned on the lights. You sneaked up behind her quietly as she was waiting for Cobie to answer.

"SCARLETT!" you shouted, grabbing her shoulders.

"AH HO-" she screamed, turning around with her hands over her mouth, to see you with a playful grin. "You- you idiot! You scared the shit out of me!"

"That was the plan love." you smiled and she rolled her eyes. You took out something from your back pocket, revealing a small box and gave it to her. "Happy Birthday, my love."

"Y/N, you didn't have to." she said with a smile. She opened the box and her mouth fell open, she looked at you before she looked down again.

"Read it." you said, knowing fully well that everyone was a few meters behind her, while Cobie stood beside her.

"To my wife. When I tell you that I love you, I say it to remind you that you're the best thing that ever happened to me. Happy 37th Birthday Scarlett, I love you with all my heart and I couldn't be more happier that I had to luck to be your wife. Love, Y/N." she read as she held up the necklace that was inside the box. It was a necklace with two rings, one had your name in it and the other had Scarlett's.

"Awww." you heard everyone, and your smile grew wider.

"That is so cute, Y/N." Florence told you and you gave her a smile.

"Help me put it on?" Scarlett asked and handed the necklace to you. You gave a nod and she turned around. You put it around her neck and once it was on, she held it and turned to you with a hint of tears in her green eyes. "Thank you so much Y/N, I feel like the luckiest person alive."

"Anything for my loving wife." you said and wrapped your arms around her neck. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"Not possible."
