this is a rewrite of the 'Period' one-shot on the Scarlett Johansson x Female Reader book.

You plopped down on the couch, a bowl full of ice-cream in your hands. You were on your period and usually the mood swings and period pain weren't that bad, but they were now. Not even painkillers would ease the pain even a little. You had a painful muscle cramp in your tummy, which is also why you ate a lot of ice-cream. Not that it would help much.

Your girlfriend for about a year, Scarlett Johansson, was at an interview. She had promised that she would buy you something on her way home from it after. Not knowing what to watch, you just decided to watch it on the tv.

You didn't really like that the interviewer would ask Scarlett a lot of questions about you, but you would smile at her answers and that she didn't give too much information about you.

When the interview was over, you opened Disney+ and scrolled through it until you found We Bought a Zoo and pressed play. You leaned back against the couch and ate up the rest of the ice-cream that was left. [ We Bought a Zoo is my comfort movie alright, leave me the f alone ]

After a while, you heard Scarlett's keys go into the keyhole. You shot up from the couch and practically ran over to her. She had just placed down the bags from the store on the floor when she spotted you.

"Hi baby- woah!" she yelped when you suddenly picked her up and ran back to the living room. You threw her on the couch and laid yourself on top of her, snuggling your head in the crook of her neck.

Scarlett laughed and kissed the top of your head. But when she tried to get up, she didn't manage to. You held her in place.

"Baby, I need to get the stuff that needs to be in the fridge in the fridge and the stuff that needs to be in the freezer, in the freezer. And I need to make some dinner," she said and you only snuggled closer to her, if that was even possible.

"You're warm," you mumbled and Scarlett sighed.

"I promise you can have all the cuddles you want when I'm finished," she said and you looked up at her. She gave a smile and you nodded your head and got off.

When you got off and she had sat up, she looked over at the tv to see what movie that was playing. She shook her head and looked over at you with the really? look.

"What? You look gorgeous in that movie," you said and she laughed and shook her head again. "I thought that Kelly was lesbian until she kissed Benjamin,"

Scarlett laughed with a shrug. She placed a kiss on your temple before she stood up and went to grab the stuff from the hall and make dinner.

When you and Scarlett had eaten, she did the dishes. You wrapped your arms around her from behind and placed a kiss on her neck, making her hum.

"Want to watch a movie when we cuddle?" you mumbled into her neck. Scarlett giggled and nodded her head, placing a kiss on your temple.

"What movie, my love?" she asked and you thought for a moment.

"Hm. Rough Night?" you questioned and Scarlett groaned. She looked at you with a glare. You gave her your best puppy eyes and pout.

"Fine. Only because you're on your period," Scarlett said and you let out a yay which caused her to smile and shake her head.

"I'll get the snacks!" you happily said and walked over to the pantry to grab the stuff. Scarlett smiled wider when she saw how happy you looked.

When you had gotten the snacks in bowls and Scarlett had finished with the dishes, the two of you snuggled up on the couch and watched Rough Night, along with some other movies Scarlett had been in. She didn't like it, but she couldn't say no to you.
