Scarlett is your mother. might be more of Colin than Scarlett tbh, but I don't know why people hate on him he seems like a sweet guy ☹️

I did this when I first met my first stepdad when I was 2 1/2 years old

You woke up in the middle of the night, with your teddy bear in your hands. You took off the covers from your small body and made your way over to your mom's room. You gently opened the door to see an unfamiliar man laying in the bed beside her. You walked over to your mom and gently nudged her.

Scarlett groaned slightly and lazily opened her eyes, turning over to you with a small smile on her face.

"Hi baby, why are you up?" she asked. You looked at her for a brief second before you saw the man open his eyes and look at you with a smile.

"What is that?" you asked, meaning the man in your mom's bed. The man chuckled and Scarlett furrowed her eyebrows.

"Y/N, not what is that, who is that." Scarlett corrected you and you looked at her.

"Who is that?" you asked and Scarlett smiled.

"Ask him." she said. You carefully walked over to the other side of the bed to ask him better since you were talking quite quietly.

"Who are you?" you asked him and he smiled.

"My name is Colin." he said and you look over at your mom.

"Mom." you said and Scarlett looked at you.

"Yes, baby?" she questioned.

"That's not my dad." you said with a pout. Colin laughed and Scarlett chuckled.

"No Y/N, that is not your dad. He is your stepdad."

Over the years you had grown closer to Colin. He would help you with school work, watch movies with you and much more. He was slowly becoming a father figure to you. It made Scarlett happy to see you being so close to Colin, but she would never forget how it was when you first met him.

"Colin, can we watch a movie?" you asked him. He smiled at you and nodded his head. "Mom? Want to watch with us?"

"Sure baby." Scarlett smiled and sat herself down on the couch beside you and Colin sat down on the other side of you.

After minutes of not agreeing on a movie, you set for The Lion King. [ I saw a theory that Scar ate Mufasa, my childhood is ruined now ]

"That must be the last box!" Colin said as him and Scarlett placed the last box of your stuff in the living room.

You had just recently moved out from the house you lived in with your mom and Colin. They had gladly offered to help you move out, even if neither of them really wanted to but you didn't live far away. About a 20 minute walk between your house and their house.

"It's going to be weird not waking up to see you sitting in the living room with your phone and morning coffee." Colin said and you smiled at him.

"It indeed is going to be weird." Scarlett chuckled and looked at you.

"Remember when you first saw me?" Colin asked and you laughed.

"Of course. Mom what is that?" you asked Scarlett and pointed at Colin.

"Not what is that, who is that." Scarlett played along, giggling quietly.

"Who are you?" you turned over to Colin and he chuckled.

"My name is Colin." he said and you turned over to Scarlett again.

"Mom, that's not my dad." you said and you all laughed. Scarlett opened her arms for you three to hug which both you and Colin gladly did.

"I love you both." Scarlett said, kissing the top of your head.

"I love you too, and you too Y/N." Colin said and messed up your hair with his hand making you giggle.

"I love you too, dad." you said and Colin hugged you tighter. Scarlett smiled at the two of you.
