[ for those who read the Scarlett Johansson x Female Reader probably remembers Dani, or you don't. anyways, he's back and he's six.]
[ and I am in the mood for angsty shit, kind of. fighting I guess. it's similar to when Dani was introduced, but not at the same time. ]

It had gone a year since the team had found you with your son. The reason why you went away was because Natasha had accused you of cheating on her with your best friend, Carol. And now it was back at it again, the accusations of you cheating.

"For fucks sake Natasha, I didn't cheat! We've been through this already!" you yelled as Natasha stood in front of you, tears visible in her eyes as well as an angry face expression. "You remember what happened when you thought I was cheating on you with Carol and now you think I'm cheating on you with Sharon?!"

"Why wouldn't you?!" she practically yelled in your face. You scoffed and shook your head, getting more and more angrier the more she accused you.

"I've had enough of this. We can't be in a relationship if you don't trust me!"

"I do trust you!—"

"Really?" you raised both eyebrows and laughed darkly. "The accusation is proving otherwise, Natasha. I'm not a complete idiot."

The arguing had been going on for a long time now. Natasha and you were too caught up in the arguing that you hadn't noticed that Dani was kind of hiding himself behind the doorframe, his head peeking inside the room. He was holding onto his teddy bear tightly, tears going down his face. The one thing the boy hated was seeing parents fight with each other.

He ran away from the door, down the stairs in the compound and saw Bucky, Sam, Wanda and Steve in the living room. Dani ran up to Bucky and hugged his leg tightly, Bucky jumping in surprise. He was like the little boy's uncle.

"Hey little guy, is everything okay?" Bucky asked in a soft tone. Dani shook his head and looked up at Bucky, still having tears in his eyes. Bucky's face morphed into a sad face and bent down in front of the little guy. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"M-My momma and m-mama are f-fighting..." he sniffled. Bucky looked at the boy sadly, hugging him with his normal arm. Wanda also looked sadly at the boy, whilst Steve and Sam frowned at the words that you and Natasha were fighting.

"It's a normal thing that parents fight, Dani." Bucky said and Dani nodded into Bucky's shoulder. "But, should we go and make them stop? I think momma and mama hates seeing their baby boy sad."

Dani looked at Bucky for a brief moment before nodding his small head. The brunette smiled and stood up, taking Dani's hand in his own non-metal hand and walked up the stairs to your and Natasha's shared room. The closer he got to the room, the more he heard how you and Natasha were arguing.

"Hey!" Bucky shouted, gaining both yours and Natasha's attention. "Can you two please stop? You have a son that's been crying because of you two fighting."

Your face morphed into a sad one, looking down at your son who was holding onto Bucky's hand with one hand and his teddy bear with the other, his eyes being red from the crying. You bent down on your knees, opening your arms for the little boy who was quick to run into them, crying onto your shoulder.

"Shhh, it's okay Dani. Everything is okay." you cooed, trying to calm your son down. He sniffled into your shoulder and saw how Natasha bent down and rubbed his head. Bucky took that as a cue to leave, which he did, closing the door as he went.

"I h-hate it when y-you and mama f-fight." he sniffled. You looked at Natasha who was looking at you, saying sorry with her eyes, possibly for accusing you.

"I know baby, I know." you rubbed the back of his head, noticing how he was calming down. He pulled away and you looked into his y/e/c eyes and wiped the remaining tears in his face. [ he has your eyes cuz they're pretty <3 ]

"Go back to your room and momma and I will read a story for you, okay?" Natasha said and Dani nodded, giving the redhead a hug which she returned. Once Dani had left the room, you sighed and looked at Natasha who was looking at you. "Look, Y/N I'm sorry—"

"Don't. I should be the one to apologize." you said and Natasha just looked at you. "I shouldn't have been so close with Sharon, knowing what happened last time."

"I should apologize too though. I should've spoken to you before jumping into conclusions." Natasha said and you gave a small smile. "I'm sorry. I'm just afraid of losing you, Y/N, I love you and I—"

"Don't explain, I know. And I love you too, you know that." you said and Natasha smiled. "Let's go now, we don't need to keep Dani waiting after we made him sad."
