Chapter 2: Profound Investigation

I carried her on my back and continued going through the dark hallway. I accidentally activated the trap on the floor, sharp arrows started shooting wall to wall, I went back to avoid arrows. After a couple of minutes, arrows stopped shooting. I decided to go straight cause this was the only way I could go, after a hallway I put her down to open the door, but it was closed. I turned on my phone, it was on 4%, and used a flashlight to see any hints. I saw the same sign "Escape or die". There was a stone the size was as big as my fist and I came up with a genius plan. I threw a stone to another side of the hall, and rapidly took Lucy on my back, we hid behind the door, while the door was opening by an alien creature, by the time it moved on to that stone I quickly came in and shut the door. Alien heard that and was trying to break a door. Lucy has waken up from a stupor, and I recognized a red button which was on the table, an inscription said "GAS". I pushed the button and the alien started dying due to the gas, in the hallway room. First, it's become yellow, then, red, then blue, and when it became purple it disappeared. We were in shock of seeing that. It was a laboratory room. There were some pills, unknown purple liquid under the glass, the head of a green snake, and so on. The next door led to the second floor. We went upstairs, but there was an alien guarding a door fortunately it didn't see us. "Be quiet" Lucy said. We sit for several hours, thinking how to circumvent this one. Some odd noises were coming from the 3rd-floor alien went upstairs to check what's going on, we quickly ran to the door and came into the room. Despite the loud sound, the alien didn't hear us. But there was a dead body in jeans laying on a white enormous table, Lucy has been vomiting for several minutes due to this spectacle. There was a purple door next to the dead body. As we thought it was shut, so we looked for a key but didn't manage to find it. However, we found a diary someone named David was the author. On the first page, he wrote "If you are reading this, you must get out of this terrible place now, otherwise it can be a recipe for a disaster, October 31st, 2015. The more we were here the more it got creepy. There was a key on one of the pages of this diary. Someone was opening the door we came in. We accidentally dropped a diary. One of the aliens came in. We managed to hide under the table in time, held our breath, and were waiting until it leaves...
