Chapter 9: Keys of Shadow

It was a double sunny day as this planet had 2 suns but we got used to it. We gradually started comprehending the language of this planet. One of the advantages of this place is that it has a solution to almost every global problem. Therefore, we wanted to find any notes or statements about well-known issues. Charlotte already found it in several minutes. We grabbed the information. We were preparing to fly away by blocking the planet. Unfortunately, the only way to block it was by sending the planet to a black hole. Nevertheless, we found out the way how to do that. Moreover, the planet created 57 rockets and set them up in different locations of the world. Charlotte has been trying to hack the 36 step authentication system for several months when she eventually managed to find a correct password with billions of tries. We changed the password. However, when we tried to launch the rockets they didn't work. System asked for "8 keys of the Shadow". "What the hell is that?" David asked. We realized aliens outsmarted us. Despite having such a huge problem we didn't give up. The only thing that worried us is not knowing how many hours we will spend on this task. The document clarified that the first key is located in "Melozediro" it was 60000 miles away in the middle of nowhere. We went on a dangerous journey, we took everything we needed with us, including food, water, instruments, and weapons. When we underwent around 27000 km Mark fell asleep. We couldn't wake him up as he was completely exhausted by controlling the shuttle, we were going down too quickly. Therefore, Charlotte connected to the shuttle's system and turned on autopilot, right before we broke into shivers. When we arrived at the first location, Mark woke up. However, there was nothing but a wasteland. Then the document said, "The day is odd; The night is Rod". We thought the location is gonna appear at night and disappear in the morning. Thus, we waited for night and this happened indeed. We saw a light-blue rod that had a red button on the top of it; when I pressed The Massive Pyramid started coming out literally out of the ground. When we opened the gates we saw nothing, so we got some flashlights and weapons. There were 7 different tunnels so we decided to split up. Girls chose the 2 corners. Leo went next to Charlotte. Anthony went next to Lucy. David and Mark didn't choose the straight one so I had to go here. At the end of the tunnel, all of us came across mazes. I effortlessly beat it whereupon I lost a connection with them. After several minutes of walking, I saw all of them tied in the cage and hanging above blazing lava. Then a strange voice said, "If you take the money you will go home, but they will die. If you choose them, money is gonna disappear but they will be alive..."
