Chapter 6: Reckless Robbery

On a sunny day, we've been having lunch and after some time Charlotte surprised us by finding out the way of using realistic 3D hologram costumes to make some robberies in our breathtaking adventures.
She said each of the holograms can hold an energy of 2 hours, now we had to control the limit of costumes. The only thing that worried me is that Lucy was unable to help us. She had no talent that underlined her personality, perhaps she will find it out one day...
Day X has come, we were ready to execute our plan. Holograms were set up on short vibration for every 20 minutes. Charlotte gave us translators which we hid in our ears. 2 hours weren't a lot, but as the saying goes "no pain, no gain". We all got our radio sets to be able to communicate with each other.
For a start, we came around the real aliens with black glasses who were guarding the main entrance, when we provided counterfeit documents, they said our names weren't on their tablet. As soon as Charlotte heard that she remotely connected her laptop to the tablet and added our names to the list. I said " Check it again, please. The hologram translated my words to their language, and he apologized for not noticing us on the list. "Birds in the nest," David said. There was a long bright hallway, red carpet, and a lot of mirrors and abstractions were hung on the blue wall. At the end of the hallway, we could hear a loud party sound, we opened a giant door, and about 400 aliens were dancing and enjoying the moment. Our costumes could translate the words. And we searched for the staff room. Anthony found it first, it was closed but he managed to open the door using a needle
Nobody was there and we plugged a flashcard into a computer to switch off the cameras, and derive some important information. Mark came across a nightstand in which he found a lot of indiscriminate letters. When the cameras were switched off, we moved to the library. Books were holograms and had a date limitation whereupon they were returned automatically.
After that, we went to the main safe to steal the diamond. David and I showed our fake licenses we are ostensibly arrived to replace them. They were quite silly, so our trick worked and they left. Anthony started prospecting the safe while we were on the lookout at the entrance. There were no signs of trouble, but we realized we have 13 minutes left. Turns out the vibration was out of order from the start and we didn't even notice it. Anthony said he almost opened the safe, and he did whereupon an alarm triggered. We rapidly grabbed a diamond and some local cash. An army of aliens was coming, from all sides. The only secure place for us was the safe. David didn't lose his courage and drove us into it. We blocked the safe and were barely breathing. There were 4 ATMs, and we came up with a genius plan. We told Charlotte to hack the bank system and open a bank account for herself. She did it and was slowly dictating the card number. We came up with a gorgeous plan, to top up the bank account Charlotte using her card number. 3 hours passed, aliens couldn't open the safe as Charlotte was blocking it remotely. We didn't even transfer half of the money. Now, we were thinking about how to get out of this place.
