Chapter 3

Jungwon went home alone the next day because his hyung has something to attend to. He is so bored that made him went outside to find something to eat.

If his hyung is with his family, he’s not allowed to use cellphone because Jay’s family will find it disrespectful.

That night, I kinda regret it now that I went out.

Jungwon already bought some foods and drinks when he passed by to a grand restaurant. The lace of his shoe went off so he decided to stop and tie it properly first. As he went back to his proper posture, his eyes widen while looking inside the restaurant that is in front of.

I didn’t know what I’m going to feel that night? I’m nervous and curious at the same time.

Jungwon saw his Jay hyung, together with his family in one table. But what made his eyes widen and felt uneasy is that a familiar young man is sitting next to his hyung.

He is the manager of the new café, Shim Jake. I asked myself why looking at them that time. Why is he with him? I thought it’s a family dinner? I don’t think he’s a family member tho?

Jungwon stopped from thinking when his hyung’s eye meets him. Jay’s eyes went bigger after seeing Jungwon outside looking at them. But before Jay could walk outside, Jungwon already run.

I don’t know but I felt so much pain that night.

Jungwon went home and cried so much on his bed. He’s in pain without knowing the exact reason. Because of too much tiredness due to crying, he fell asleep before he knew it.

The next morning, he’s eyes slowly opened and the first thing he saw is his hyung in the kitchen busy cooking. He slowly sat up that made his hyung noticed him.

“Oh, you’re up?” Jay asked him still cooking something for breakfast.

“Hyung,” Jungwon called Jay on a hoarse voice.

I don’t know where I found the great amount of confidence that day, or maybe I’m still sleepy but I did something so sudden.

“I like you.”

Jay got surprised although he already expected it. Jungwon’s sudden confession just made Jay laugh inside him. “Let’s eat,” Jay answered instead.

When Jay hyung didn’t answer my confession or reacted about it, I felt so hurt. I literally felt that something is squeezing my heart.

Because of how Jay reacted to Jungwon, he felt embarrassed and hurt at the same time. Jungwon then lay back on his bed and covered himself with blanket.

Jay sighed as he heard Jungwon’s low sobs under the thick blanket. Jungwon’s cry made him drop what he’s holding and went to Jungwon’s bed.

He hugs him from behind that made Jungwon’s cry even louder. Jay pats Jungwon’s back and hushed so he will stop crying already.

“Isn’t it too early to cry, Yang Jungwon?” Jay asked him.

Jungwon turned around so he could face Jay’s chest and he buried himself in there. It is one of his comfort zones.

“I hate you,” Jungwon whispered between his sobs.

“Hahahah!" Jay chuckles. “Why? Why do you hate me now?” Jay teasingly asked.

“I hate that what you are doing is opposite from what you are saying. You’re always calling me as your lil brother when what you are doing to me is more than that. Do you think I’m a fool? Maybe I am. I’m really a fool for loving you Park Jay,” Jungwon complained then cries again like a kid.

Jay tried so hard from smiling but he couldn’t. “Cutie,” he commented.

“Ahh what the hell!” Jungwon growl and he pushed his hyung causing for Jay falling of the bed.

“HAHAHAH!” Jay laugh and then sit down while leaning his head on Jungwon’s bed. “We should eat now, Yang Jungwon,” he invited again Jungwon.

“I don’t want to,” Jungwon sulked.

“Why?” Jay asked him without looking at him.

“So that I’ll die and I’m going to ghost you every day for not liking me back,” Jungwon answered in a grumpy sound.

Jay looked at him, “I’m not letting you die,” Jay stated and he stood up.

“O-oh? What are you g-going to do?” Jungwon asked in stuttered while looking at his hyung.

“We’re going to eat,” Jay answered and then he went closer to Jungwon.

He then holds Jungwon’s both arms and pulled him up. He carried him like a newlywed and then makes him sit on the chair, in front of foods.

“You’re not going to die, you get that? Now, eat,” Jay ordered him while he’s putting rice to Jungwon’s plate.

After he said those a thought crossed in my mind, “If you don’t want me to die then love me back.” Sounds funny right? I know. I know it well but that’s I really want.
