Chapter 8

“Hey kid, how old is he?” the old landlady asked Jungwon while looking at Jay playing with kids.

“19,” Jungwon answered after giving the rent payment to the landlady.

“And you?” she asked Jungwon.

“17,” Jungwon answered.

The old lady looked at Jungwon as if he said the most nonsense thing she ever heard. “Aigoo!” the old lady exclaimed and hit Jungwon’s nape. “Why are you two doing this, huh?” she asked.

“Ahjumma, I already gave you the money why are you suddenly hitting me?” Jungwon complained while massaging his nape.

"You students are supposed to be studying, playing, having fun, and make a lot of friends, instead of running away. You really love each other huh!? What in the world," the old lady again, scolded Jungwon.

“Why? What’s the matter?” Jay butts in and hold Jungwon’s nape.

“She hit me,” Jungwon answered casually.

“You two should get back to your own place already. Don’t you have parents?” the old lady asked in her raised brows.

“That’s why we’re here because of them,” Jungwon answered the Jay held his hand.

“Shh,” Jay hushed to make Jungwon stop from answering.

“You two are too young for this kind of stuffs. You really love each other? Then why are you running away? You aren’t in a drama to act like this. Aigoo,” she stated before leaving the two of them behind.

Jay grabbed Jungwon’s shoulder and put both of his hands in there, “Don’t worry, okay?” Jay said.

Jungwon smiled and nods, “Everything is fine if I’m with you,” Jungwon replied.

“You should be fine even if I’m not with you,” Jay countered.

Jungwon scowls, “What? You’re my life, I can’t live without you. You know that?” Junhwon asked.

“Hahahaha! You’re really cute,” Jay commented instead. Then he looks up, “The sky is clear today, I think the weather is so lovely. Should we go to the lake?” Jay suggested.

“Let’s go,” Jungwon agreed.

The two of them walked where the lake is. The wind is making them feel refreshed while looking at the calm lake in front of them. They are sitting below the tree shedding them while Jungwon is resting his head on Jay’s shoulder.

“Romeo and Juliet met at the ball. I really wanted to experience it,” Jungwon whispered while playing some grass on his hands.

Jay suddenly stands up that made Jungwon startled. “W-what? Are we going to go back already?” Jungwon askd.

Jay suddenly bow like someone’s in front of him is a royal highness while he’s offering his hands, “May I have this dance?” Jay asked.

“Ahh hyung, what is this hahaha!” Jungwon reacted out of excitement.

He accepted Jay’s hand and then he stood up. He put his left hand on Jay’s back while the other one is holding Jay’s hand. On the other hand, Jay’s right hand is on Jungwon’s waist.

The two of them started slowly moving, dancing, like they are really at the ball. They are smiling at each other and they are really enjoying what they are doing.

The moment Jay hyung held me like that, dance me like that, I know I’m going to love him forever. I love him like crazy. I love him I can lose myself.
