Chapter 9

I don’t know what to think anymore… Jay hyung left me. Jay hyung is with Jake. How am I supposed to live? How am I supposed to continue my life? I just want to end it already.

Jungwon’s found himself standing on the railings. Where the cold running water is below him, where his life is about to end.

Maybe… That’s the best way of getting rid of all these pains because of not having you.

He looked up that made him cried so hard. “Why? Why the sky is so clear tonight? Why the moon is so bright tonight? Why weather is just so fine tonight!?” he cried.

He’s desperate. He’s giving up. He couldn’t win it already. Yang Jungwon lost.

He’s slowly lifting his foot to jump when he heard his name is being called, “YANG JUNGWON!”

It was his Jay hyung.

Jungwon slowly turned around and it startled him when he saw his hyung causing him to lose his balance and hardly fell on the ground. He broke his ankle that made Jay run mindlessly towards him.

“HYUNG! DON’T!” Jungwon tried stopping his hyung from crossing the road but it’s already pointless.

He saw his hyung being crashed by a van. “JAY HYUNG!” he shouted and tried his best to stand up but he couldn’t.

Jungwon crawled towards his hyung who’s already bathing to his own blood. The van stuck at it hits the bridge and the driver passed out. There’s no one who can help them.

“H-hyung,” Jungwon called as he reached his hyung and he hugged him so tight. “H-hyung,” he called again.

“M-my… Jungwon… J-jungwon,” his hyung called him while catching his breath.

Jungwon hold his hands so tight, “Hyung… I’m so sorry,” Jungwon apologized as he cried so hard.

“I… I am sorry f-for… for not giving you a… a h-happy ending,” Jay apologized.

Jungwon shook his head, “N-no! No hyung! I’m fine! Please! Help us! Please help us!”” Jungwon shouted.

Jay’s hand reached Jungwon’s face so he held it, “Romeo and Juliet… is a g-good story yet… Yet ours is the b-best. Jay hyung, l-loves you so much… O-okay?” Jay hardly speaks.

Jungwon nods and grabbed his hyung so he could hug him. “I love you too! I really love you so much hyung!” Jungwon yelled.

He felt Jay’s hand at the back of his head, “I-it’s okay… Jungwon, it’s okay… Hyung is fine…” Jay speaks.

“Yes hyung! We’re going to be fine, okay? We will always be—“ Jungwon stopped talking when he suddenly felt the heaviness of his hyung.

“Jay hyung…” he called while his eyes keep on producing tears.

“Hyung… G-get up… H-hug me please… Hyung…”

Park Jay isn’t answering him nor moving. There’s no reaction that can confirm that he’s still with Park Jungwon.

“JAY HYUNG!”

Why? Why does it need to be him? Why did he come to me? I’ll keep on blaming myself till the day I die.

“Why are you here?” Jake asked Jungwon who’s seems so lifeless already.

“Just let me burn incense, please,” Jungwon whispered while holding his hands together.

“Are you kidding right now? He died because of you!” Jake shouted then landed a punch on Jungwon.

Jungwon didn’t react and has no energy at all. Jake grabbed his collar and slammed him to the wall. “Jay, get off the plane and run to you that night,” Jake stated.

That made Jungwon looked at Jake’s eyes then it started to form some warm liquids, “H-huh?” Jungwon reacted.

“H-he… He left the plane and come to you, look for you because he loves you so much and he can’t live without you. He told me that it’s better to die if he can’t have you. Jay! Jay, decided to throw everything that night but what have you done?” Jake yelled.

Jungwon’s head lowered, “J-just let me brun some incense, please,” Jungwon pleaded.

“Argh! Fuck!” Jake cursed and punched Jungwon again.

“Just let me,” Jungwon begged again as he keep on crying.

"I need him to be with me so that they'll help my dad's operation and our company. But... B-but because of you we're all doomed now! Just leave us already,” Jake ordered him while his eyes are screaming pain and falling tears.

Jungwon’s eyes meet him and he suddenly hip throw Jake causing him to fall down the floor, not minding what he told him. He entered the hall where his Jay is having his funeral.

“Hey! What are you doing here! How dare you—“ Mrs. Park couldn’t continue what she’s about to say when Jungwon pushed her.

Jungwon then went in front of Jay and bowed in front of him while crying so hard. “I’m sorry hyung! I’m so sorry!” he apologized while his head is on the floor.

He then stood up and burns incense while his hands are shaking. Then he offered again bows to respect the deceased. He cried so much and wasn’t able to stay there longer when the guards grabbed him out.

I’m so sorry hyung. I’m so sorry.
