14. Fly away, butterflies

As we walked slowly, Aleksi still kept staring at me, waiting for an answer from me. My gaze wandered to the boys who laughed drunk and pumped to each other, we walked behind them, a little further. Somehow I wanted to please them and drink more, but I had Aleksi next to me, who wanted me to go home with him and sleep.
Should I get to known these guys better and maybe be friends with them, or do I keep my liver safe?
Then I looked Aleksi who kept staring at me with those blue eyes, his hair almost hid them again, but he fixed it quickly.

"Maybe we should go to-" I started but Joonas interrupted us.
"Hey friends, shall we to to drink? Joel's apartment is right here." He pointed that one building as we reached it. I looked at Aleksi, he just smiled a little, I didn't know what he really wanted to do?
"Let's go then." I said smiling, Joonas cheered, then we walked inside of the building.
As we got in the fifth floor, Joel opened his apartment door and we all walked in and took our shoes and jackets off.
"I'll go to sleep." Olli groaned as he walked to the couch.
"Man come on! We have a guest, then you stay awake until she's asleep." Joonas jumped on top of him, and that made Olli yell in pain.
Joel put some music on and they started to drink, I took a glass of water and then headed to the balcony.
I leaned against the railing and it was very cold night. In suprise the sky was clear and I saw a few stars, they are the most beautiful thing in nature. It's so.. wonderful. To think about we live in a planet, and out there is just endless darkness and millions of stars and planets. God knows what there really is.

I heard someone opening the door and coming in, I turned my head a little bit to see who it is.
"Hi." Aleksi smiled to me while he closed the door again and walked next to me, he leaned against the railing too.
"Hi." I smiled too and looked him, then the stars again.
"Have you had enough of boys already?" He smirked.
"No.. you know I was about to say that maybe we should go to home, but then Joonas interrupted me and I couldn't say no to him." I said and Aleksi chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah, they would've had thought something else maybe.. they always tease me with these kind of things." He looked his hands.
"What kind of things..?" I asked quietly, while I turned my gaze to him.
"You know..." He responded quietly and looked me.
We stared at each other in silence, my eyes wandered between his eyes and lips, and he did the same to me.
I had shivers because of the coldness, and Aleksi saw that. He came closer to me and put his arm around me, but our eye contact never broke. There is just something in his eyes.. they are so.. captivating.

We started to lean closer to each other, I could feel his warm breath in my lips. Until someone shoot the door open and we pulled apart of each other.
"Hey lovebirds, are you coming?" Niko asked smirking.
"Niko.." I sighed and he just nodded.
"Right.. sorry." He said and left us alone. We looked quickly each other with Aleksi, and he just smirked and walked in first. I did the same and closed the door behind me.
I patted Aleksi's shoulder and he turned around.
"I go home.. you're right, I'm too drunk already." I said and walked to the hallway to put my shoes and jacket on.
"I'll come with you." He said.

We ordered taxi and we were home quickly, my eyes started to get so tired. I barely kept my eyes open, and Aleksi hold my hand for the whole time and kept me awake.

As we reached the third floor, Aleksi let go of my hand and we stood there.
"Thank you for the night, I really had fun and I loved to meet the boys again." I smiled to him.
"I'm sure they liked you too, you know I didn't say anything to them that we left." He smirked.
"So we kinda disappeared." I chuckled.
"Yeah.." He said quietly.
We stared at each other again, couple meters away.
All I was thinking was that moment at Joel's balcony, we almost kissed. Was it a good thing that we got interrupted?
I don't know, but all I was thinking was Aleksi.

"Do you want Ville to see you like that..?" He asked quietly, while we both played with our keys.
I swallowed.
"I don't know.. maybe not.." I answered. I felt so weak right now.. he had the power over here. But I didn't complain about it.
"There is always space in my bed.." He looked his hands, and then me. I felt butterflies. What? No, you can fly away you god damn butterflies. Nothing is going to happen okay?
I just nodded lightly, I wasn't able to talk. Aleksi walked to his door and opened it, I followed him to his apartment.
I closed the door gently behind me, I watched Aleksi taking off his shoes and jacket, Rilla also came to greet him.
I took my shoes off, and jacket too. Then we just stood there, looking at each others. When these staring contests will end? Not that I wouldn't like it, I could watch his eyes all the time.

He walked slowly closer to me. I took two steps backwards. His hand reached to the door handle and he pulled it twice, now my back was against the door and he was only inches away from me.
"It needs to be checked, that it's surely close." He said quietly. But he didn't let go of the door handle, he kept his hand there, while our bodies were close to each other.
"I do the same.." I almost whispered.
It was dark in here, no lights. But I still saw his blue eyes, I could almost see them to shine in the dark.
He leaned closer, my breath started to get heavier by every inch he came closer to me.
What should I do?

He placed his left hand to the door for support, and the right hand which were in the door handle, he placed it to my waist. A quiet gasp left my mouth.
Shit. Shut up Erica.
And in seconds, our lips connected.
I responded to the kiss, and it continued.
Nothing was on my mind than this moment, was this wrong, or right? I only know that we are drunk, and that the world is spinning around me.
We continued until we both needed some air, we looked each others, hungrily.

"This was something I didn't see coming.." Aleksi broke the silence.
"You didn't?" I asked quietly.
Then he stared at me, and I could already see how his eyes darkened, and how his jaw got tense.
He leaned closer to my lips again, and he gave me a kiss. Then he whispered to my ear.
"What if something is going to happen..?"
I closed my eyes, and I placed my hands around his body.
"Then it's going to happen." I answered with so much confident, thanks to drunk me.
