Yeona's POV
When the sun shines through the window blinds I squeeze my eyes, a groan rattles my throat. I stretch my limbs earning a meow from the black and red cat next to me. I lay on my right side and run my fingers through San's soft fur.
"Thank you." I whispered my lips curving up. I then sit up and look around the room. 'It really wasn't a dream.' I thought to myself. I take a deep breath pushing my short hair back with my fingers. The pasted couple of days has felt like a fever dream everything has been happening at once I haven't had time to properly think.
I uncover my body sitting on the edge of the bed. When I look up I see an outfit hanging on the closest door. I tilt my head, then I turn my body to look at the cat still deep in sleep. With one of my dark eyebrows raised I push myself off the bed. I walk towards the closest my heart slightly racing.
I look at the outfit which consists of blue-jeans with a chain hooked to the belt loop. A plain white with the words 'sweet as honey' across the front, then a black, gray, and white plaid shirt. I wrap my hand around the hager that's holding the clothes. I shrug my shoulders and gently exit the room trying not to wake San who is sleeping peacefully.
I make my way to the bathroom beside Jennie's room. While I was walking down the hallway I noticed that the house was really quite. I stop right before entering the bathroom. I listen really closely, usually at least a coffee machine was going. But nothing, a smile creeps up in my lips.
After I step into the bathroom I close the door behind me. Then I look around making sure no more supernatural creatures are going to jump out and scare me. I nod my head hanging the clothes on a nail on the back of the door.
When I look over at the mirror above the sink I notice the dark circles under my eyes aren't there. But my cheeks are still sunk in with my cheek bones showing. I shake my head removing my eyes from the mirror. I then get ready for school. I change out of my pajamas and into the jeans, shirt, and plaid shirt. After I'm done changing I pick up a hair brush and run it through my short hair.
I then set the brush down, and pick up a hairband. Jennie loves wearing her hair down so she has numerous hairbands. The hairband I choose was a plain white hairband with small blue gems. After fixing my hair I pick up my toothbrush and toothpaste.
After I brush my teeth I exit the bathroom and then walk into Jennie's room. But when I enter the room I see San shirtless. "Oh my I'm sorry I didn't mean to intrude." I imminently cover my eyes. San's deep chuckle echoes through the room. "I-I'll leave." I said exiting the room immediately.
I rush down the stairs, my hand over my heart. 'Why is this happening to me?" I ask myself. I shake off any and all thoughts. A soft sigh leaves my lips. Wanting to be nice I decide to fix San breakfast. I look at the time, I have time to fix him something small. I start immediately not really knowing what he eats. I just fix whatever was in the refrigerator.
When I go to get a glass I see a note. 'I got called into work early. Don't do anything stupid.' I recognize the handwriting as my fathers. A sense of relief gets lifted from my shoulders. When I finish cooking I only have a couple minutes before the bell rings. As I'm packing up my books I see San enter the kitchen.
"Are you not going to eat?"
"Not hungry. School lets out at 3 so I'll be home around there. My dad gets off work at 5 so-
"Okay, I'll be sure to turn back into a cat if he comes home early." He spoke with a small smile on his lips.
"Okay, see you later." I smiled. I rush out the door, I lost track of time so I missed the bus so now I have to run. With the bag wrapped around my neck I strip down towards where the school is. Times like this make me wish I had a car and a drivers licences.
What feels like hours I finally reach the school. I run up the side walk, up the stairs, and through the doors. I let out a sigh when I reach my locker. "Where have you been?" I look to the side to see Minji with her twin brother Mingi.
"With Jennie, didn't you hear about the accident?" I wasn't fully lying. Minji places her hand on her hips.
"Now sis, calm down. Sorry Yeona, Minji has been kinda stressed out now that the finals are close." You smile at Mingi.
"It's fine, I understand. And it's great to see you again." Mingi smiles. For the past couple of months Mingi took some time off for reasons unknown.
"It's great to see you to Yeona. How's Jennie?" I take a deep breath.
"She's ok, nothing major just a broken leg. I do know she lost a lot of blood, but the doctor is taking really good care of her." I answered. I then face my locker and unlock it. I place my bag in the locker and get out the books I need.
"That's good." Mingi spoke.
"Why did you cut your hair?" I stop what I'm doing. I close my eyes, while my heart begins to race.
"I-I wanted to try something new." I stuttered closing the locker door and facing the twins. Minji nods her head. I look around the crowded hall looking for a certain red haired boy. "Where's Jongho?" I questioned my heart feeling heavy. Minji and Mingi look at each other. Then they look at me.
"He didn't come with you?" I shake my head. I let out a sigh, 'where could he be?" I ask myself. I look up at Mingi, I raise a brow after I fully scan him. Last time I seen Mingi he had brown hair but now he has strawberry red hair. 'Could it be Yunho, or is it really Mingi?'
I shake my head, maybe I'm just hallucinating. "Who's that?" I look where the twins are looking at and see a girl that I've never seen before. She has on tight leather pants, a red crop top, and sunglasses. Her black hair is tied up. Her features remind me of the peach haired boy. When she walks pasted me and the twins she look at me over her sunglasses and smirks.
"That was weird. Yeona do you know her?" Minji asked. I look at her and shake my head. But I'm curious to get to know her. The bell telling us to go to class goes off. "I can't wait till I graduate." Minji spoke leading the way. I smile as the twins begin to argue.
*Time Skip*
School finally lets out me, and the twins head outside. "So Yeona, do you want us to take you home?" Minji ask while I put my bag around my neck. I look up at Minji and smile.
"No I'm good, I can walk."
"Are you sure? It's not a problem."
"I'll be fine, thank you for the offer." Minji sighs in defeat.
"Fine, see you tomorrow." Minji wraps her arms around me giving me a tight hug. I hug her back patting her back. Our arms fall back to our sides. The next thing I know Mingi wraps his arms around me. I giggle at the unexpected hug.
"It was great seeing you again Yeona." I smile wrapping my arms around his small figure.
"It was great seeing you too Mingi." My arms fall back to my side. I wave at the twins as they walk off. The roar of an engine makes me look around. My eyes land on a guy on a motorcycle. He takes off his helmet to show the peach haired male but his hair isn't a peach color anymore. It's jet black now.
