Yeona's POV
My heart races as I clench the umbrella in my hand. "Awe, hellhound got your tongue?"
"W-what are you doing here?" I ask frozen in place.
"I should be asking you the same thing. I mean, the only time a human comes here is when they want to sell their soul." Jungah says taking a step forward. I take a step back, "Don't worry dear, I can't hurt you. Your little angel friend made sure of that." She smirks looking at the umbrella. I also look down at the umbrella.
I'll definitely have to thank Wooyoung next time I see him. I fidget with the grip of the umbrella, "W-what are yo-you?" I asked trying to seem confident but fail.
Jungah chuckles, "Haven't you already guessed? Or are you that dumb?" I swallow the lump that has formed in my throat. When I don't answer, Jungah looks away from me as she shakes her head. "I guess you really are dumb." She begins to walk slowly. "I'm a hellhound." She smiles looking at me with her two fangs showing.
My heart continues to beat out of my chest. What should I do? I wasn't expecting her to show up, then again what really was I expecting in coming here. "Do I need to explain what a hellhound is so your human brain can understand?"
"No, I know what a hellhound is." I grumbled. I see Jungah stop her mouth forming a circle.
"So she actually can get an attitude." Jungah chuckles more deeply this time. "Humans are all the same." She said her voice going deep. I could just feel the venom dripping from her fangs. The coldness from the night air sends shivers down my spine. I'm really regretting coming here.
"I'm tired of playing games, you really wanna know why I'm here." She starts walking again, she's forming a half circle around me. I softly sigh, I need to think carefully but thinking really hasn't gotten anywhere. It's really hard knowing who to trust and not to trust. Jungah is definitely on the list of who I should not trust.
"Yes." I said, glancing over my shoulder. The hellhound stops behind me.
"Because I wanted to be the one to tell you."
"Tell me what?" My voice stabilizing. A tch leaves the hellhound's red lips.
"That everyone wants you dead." Her words make my body feel like it's on fire. My muscles tease but, and my nerves jump like they've just been lit on fire. My chest rises and falls at a fast pace.
"What?" I turn around to see that the hellhound is no longer here. I feel the tears form behind my eyes, I'm so confused. I have no idea what to do. What do I think, she shouldn't be trusted. But what if she's right, what if everyone wants me dead?
I bite down on my lower lip before walking down the road I came down. My head becomes clouded with questions, scenarios, and other thoughts. The sound of my name pulls me out of my head. I look up through blurry eyes to see Wooyoung. I choke down the sob that has formed in my throat.
