Yeona's POV

My heart drops as Jennie's words repeat in my mind like a broken record. All I can do is lay here speechless. I open my mouth but nothing comes out. I don't know what to say and now all I can do is lay there thinking of what to tell her. Yet I can't, my brain is blank and nothing makes sense anymore.

'Jennie always told me she would never leave me but that's what she's doing now.' I think.

"I'm sorry Peaches, but I have to leave that place. You can come too though." She says, playing with my hair.

I can tell she's truly sorry just by the tone of her voice.

"It's okay, I understand. I wish I could leave, but I'm still under eighteen." I reply.

She sighs and hugs me closely.

"I forgot about that, but Hongjoong says that you're always welcomed." She whispers.

My vision starts to blur as tears build up in my eyes. I close my eyes to help keep tears from falling out of them.

"Yeona come on, we're leaving."

I look up, seeing my father standing in the doorway. I quickly sit up and look down at Jennie as she looks up at me.

"Do you think he heard us?" She mouths.

I shrug my shoulders and get off of the bed.

"I guess I have to leave," I say and she pouts.

"O-Okay, I hate that you have too." She tells me, holding her arms out.

I give her a quick hug before walking out of her room. I see my father standing by the elevators and I walk up to him.

"How's your sister?" He softly questions.

"She's okay." I converse.

"Liar." He replies.

The elevator doors open revealing Dr. Kim also known as my brother, Hongjoong. Hongjoong gives me a small smile but when his eyes land on my father his smile disappears.

"Good morning Mr. Kim." Hongjoong greets my father, moving past us.

I stand there amazed by the awkwardness that just formed in less than a minute. My father grabs my wrist and pulls me into the elevator. The elevator and the ride home was silent. Soon father stops the car in front of the house. We both get out and he walks in front of me. He opens the door and walks in with me following behind him. He stops and I walk around him towards the stairs.

"Where are you going?" He coldly asks.

"M-My room-room." I stutter.

He grabs my wrist harder than when he did at the elevator and drags me towards the door that leads to the basement. My body instantly starts to ache with memories and pain washes over me. He opens the door, it loudly hitting the wall.

"This'll be your room from now on." He states before pushing me.

I fall down the stairs and soon hit the floor of the basement with a thud. Whimpers leave my mouth and tears rapidly flow down my cheeks. He slams the door shut and I curl into a ball. My knees touch my chest and my arms wrap around both of my legs. My back starts to throb along with my head. If something isn't fractured I'll be surprised.

"He's an ass."

'He's here.' I think, a smile forming on my face.

A pair of ice-cold hands grab my arms.

'Why are non-human hands so cold?' I internally ask myself.

He sets me up to where I'm no longer on my side. Our eyes meet and I let go of my legs. He takes his left hand and wipes my tears away with the pad of his thumb.

"Are you okay?" He questions.

I look at the man in front of me who has changed his look yet again. This time he isn't as tall as the other two and has a white mullet. His eyes are two different colors, one being red and the other being brown.

"I'm okay, I'm glad you're here," I say.

He tilts his head to the side.

"I think you have the wrong person, I'm Yeosang." He replies with a small smile.

I flinch a little, making a bolt of pain go through my body.

"No, don't move." He tells me, slightly panicking.

"So you're not the man I've been-

"No, sorry to disappoint you."

"I'm not disappointed but are you one of his friends?" I question.

He shakes his head and picks me up bridal style.

"I'm friends with Woo." He answers.

'Woo? He must be talking about Wooyoung.'

"Are you an angel too?" I ask.

"You're full of questions, aren't you?" He chuckles. "Sadly I'm not, I'm half angel and half vampire." He adds.

"V-Vampire." I stutter.

"Don't worry I'm a vegetarian." He reassures me and sets me down on the chair in the corner. "Just rest, Woo will get mad if he knew I left without making sure that you're okay." He continues.

I giggle.

"Yeosang, what're you doing here?"

I look in the direction that the voice came from and my eyes land on the red-haired man who's waiting for an answer.
