Yeona's POV
The weekend flew by and before I knew it the twins were getting ready for school on Monday. To help them I go down stairs to make them breakfast. I quickly decided to make rice and eggs since I really don't know what they would prefer to eat in the morning.
"Minji hurry up!" I hear Mingi yell from the living room. "Hey Yeona could you-
Mingi enters the kitchen but stops talking when he lays eyes on me. His eyes grow wide, "What's this?"
A smile takes over my lips, "I made y'all breakfast!" I say excitedly.
Mingi smiles, "You didn't have to." Mingi walks up to me and embraces me into a hug. "Thank you though."
"You're welcome!" I whisper. Mingi let's me go and sits down at the table.
"What are you going to eat?" He says before digging into his meal. I sit down next to him and look down at my bowl of oatmeal.
"Oatmeal." I answer. Before I started eating I see Minji enter the room.
"By the Gods, I'm actually going to eat breakfast." Mingi stops eating and looks up at his twin sister.
"I've cooked you breakfast before!" He yells with a mouth full of food. Minji nods her head before sitting down. Mingi looks at me in disbelief. I chuckle at the two while shaking my head and turning my attention towards the food. While we're eating the doorbell rings throughout the house. My brows knit together as I look towards Mingi.
"I'll get it." He says getting up and leaving the kitchen.
"Thank you." Minji speaks when Mingi leaves.
"For what?" Minji glances up from her bowl.
"For breakfast."
I chuckle, "You're welcome." I continue to glance up to see if Mingi has returned but he doesn't. After a couple of minutes he comes back into the kitchen.
"Yeona, your ride is here." As soon as he says that Hongjoong enters the kitchen.
"Oh Hongjoong, I thought you was at work." I say as I tilt my head.
"I was but now they have me on night shift."
"Oh shit Mingi we gotta go." Minji stands up. Mingi looks down at his watch that hugs his wrist.
"Oh you're right." Mingi looks at me, "Bye Yeona see ya later." Mingi then turns to Hongjoong, "It was nice seeing you." Mingi exits out of the kitchen on again then Minji turns towards Hongjoong. She hands him something then makes a fist but holds out her thumb and pinky and holds her fist up to her ear. Just like Mingi she exits the room.
Hongjoong then looks at me with wide eyes, "She does realize I'm over the age of 21, right?" I smile while my shoulders moved up then down. Hongjoong takes a sit next to me. "You're looking good. Healthier!"
