Y/n and Sam both got out of Sam's car and headed inside. As they made their way towards the doors people gave the sister's hard glances. Y/n couldn't care less. Y/n opened the door and let her sister pass through and then walked inside the school.

Soon after people began barking at y/n. Y/n gave them weird glances. Some people instead of barking they laughed at Y/n while pointing at her. "How are you doing doggy?" A boy said as he passed by Y/n. Y/n clutched her backpack straps and noticed Andy and his new girlfriend walking together, all while looking at Y/n.
Y/n stormed over to them "I know you have something to do with this asshole" Y/n said while looking at Andy.

Andy and his girlfriend stopped in their tracks. Andy remained silent while his girlfriend spoke "yeah and so what? He had to warn everybody. He had to let everyone know he broke up with you because you kiss like a dog." The (random hair color)-girl laughed. Y/n looked at Andy with hurt eyes. "Awe the poor doggy is gonna cry~" The girl teased making crying noises.

"I'm not the only dog here, you know?" Y/n said as she pulled her backpack off her back. "Oh yeah?" The girl crossed her arms. "You're here too, bitch" Y/n replied. Sam could easily tell Y/n was about to launch herself at the rude girl. Sam would honestly like to see her get beat up but she knew y/n get in big trouble.
"Y/n! Stop come on, she's not worth it." Sam said grabbing y/n by the arm. "Your sister really sucks at helping you out" The girl mocked. Sam clenched her jaw and pulled her sister away from the girl.

"I hate this damn school" Y/n mumbled. "You and me both" Sam responded. The bell rang and the two sisters headed to their class where they'd have to endure people talking about them.

Y/n walked to her next class, biology.

Y/n walked in and sat down in her spot "The doggy's here!" Someone said and made the whole class laugh. Well almost, Demetri was the only one who didn't laugh.
Y/n held her hands together and looked down at her lap. Demetri couldn't help but look at the poor girl, he knew that anybody but her deserved to go through this. She'd only been caring and this is what she gets from them.

"Hey, don't listen to them. It's actually easier than you think" Demetri leaned towards Y/n. Y/n looked up at the boy.

"Right" Y/n replied. Demetri knew that wouldn't do anything but let her know he knew about the rumors. Maybe some reassurance could help? "You know I don't think you kiss like a dog—not that I've watched you kiss people—I...what I mean is I don't think the rumors are true." Demetri stammered scratching the back of his neck.

Y/n gave him the tiniest of smiles "thanks"
'At least not everyone in this school is an asshole' Y/n thought to herself.
Mr.Palmer passed out worksheets and told his students to work individually but if needed to partner up with their table partner.

Y/n and Demetri both worked alone on their worksheet. They worked silently not saying much to one another. Though that silence was quickly broken by Demetri. "It's a good thing you're not with Andy, he's a real asshole."
"Tell me about it. I broke up with him because he was cheating on me" Y/n sighed as she continued to write.

"Holy shit really?" Demetri said in surprise. "Yep, caught him while we were at the Country Club. I asked him if he wanted to come but he said he'd be too busy. Guess he was busy meeting that other girls parents" Y/n responded.

Demetri looked at the girl with a sad smile "but hey, no more asshole right?" Y/n chuckled "mhm" The conversation with Demetri warmed Y/n's heart. Sure y/n thought of hoped Demetri liked her due to being his table partner but didn't expect him to care as much as she thought.

Their class was coming to an end and most of the students were packing up. "You know, we'd like it if you sat with us during lunch. We like your company" Demetri said to Y/n as he zipped up his backpack. "Really?" Y/n said as she put her supplies away. "Yeah," Demetri said in a 'duh' tone. "Then I'll sit with you guys," Y/n said with a smile just then the bell rang and dismissed the high school students to lunch.

Demetri and Y/n made small talk as they walked alongside each other making their way to the cafeteria. Y/n picked up her tray and made her way to a table.

"Hey, guys! You know the billboard with the big ass dick on it? Well, I guess Sam takes after her dad" Kyler smirked. Y/n slammed her tray on the table walking over to Kyler. "cool it, Kyler." Y/n said. Kyler faced Y/n, his eyebrows furrowed. "Look, it's the dog. Shouldn't I be telling you what to do? Give me your paw!" Kyler taunted. Everyone laughed while staring at the (hair color)-haired girl.

Y/n clenched her jaw before slapping Kyler "There you go" People throughout the cafeteria let out oohs. Kyler held his cheek giving Y/n a death stare. "Hey, Kyler! Why don't you shut the hell up, and stop being such an asshole?" Miguel said slamming his tray like Y/n and made his way towards Kyler.

"Want another beat down 'Rhea?" Kyler said and pushed him. "I'm ready for your lame-ass karate this time!" Kyler mocked and pushed Miguel for the second time. "It's not lame-ass karate" Miguel informed. Kyler went for a punch but Miguel caught it "it's Cobra Kai" then Miguel punched Kyler in the face.

Blood oozed out of the dark-haired boy's nose and once he took note of it he tackled Miguel into a table. He began dragging him around meanwhile holding him in a headlock. While in this position Miguel elbowed Kyler, twisted his arm, punched him in the face, and kicked his back. Kyler quickly fell to the ground. "No Mercy!" Aisha exclaimed.

Just as the fight with Kyler ended another one started. Brucks and the other boys began attacking Miguel from different places but even then Miguel managed to block or knock them down. Kyler regained consciousness and stood up and charged at Miguel. Miguel quickly went on a table and kicked Kyler. To finish up the fight he hit Kyler with a tray Miguel held in his hands.

Instantly people began to cheer and clap. Miguel stared in awe at all the people who cheered for him. Soon he made eye contact with Sam. He was love-struck. Counselor Blatt walked in and dragged Miguel down from the table and to the office. Nonetheless, the students continued to cheer for Miguel. As soon as Y/n noticed Counselor Blatt was nowhere near them she walked over to Kyler.

"Hey Kyler, roll over," Y/n said. Kyler looked up at her confusion written all over his face "what..?" Y/n kicked him in the crotch. Kyler groaned and rolled over hating the feeling he felt down there. Y/n laughed to herself. Sam walked over to Y/n patted her shoulder. "Good job"

Y/n walked out to school and with Eli and Demetri. "I say we go to Miguel's dojo," Y/n said coming to a stop.

"Yes"
"No"

"What?" Eli and Y/n both looked at Demetri. "Why not?" Y/n asked. "I mean why would you want to go? You'll get all gross and sweaty" Demetri said. "Because that was badass, sure I'll have to do some things to be able to go to the dojo but it's fine. I saw on the website they have a session tomorrow, we should go" Y/n said.

"No"
"Okay"

"Come on Demetri! It'll be fine! Karate attracts girls" Y/n said wigging her eyebrows. Her stupid action couldn't help but make Demetri give in. "Fine..." he huffed.

"Great! I'll see you guys tomorrow! Bye," Y/n said waving goodbye to her friends and jogging over to Sam who waited in her car. Demetri watched as she walked away. "You definitely like her" Eli nudged Demetri's side, Demetri shook his head "no I don't," he said and began walking away, Eli followed right behind him.
