I was placed in the back of a police car separated away from my father who got me into this mess. When we drove away in different directions, I just kept staring back towards the hospital where Maya was left by herself. Eventually we had passed by many signs along the way on how far the Juvenile Center was. And the upcoming one was reading two and half miles to get to Oakheart Juvenile Center."We are just about halfway there kiddo.." I looked forward and felt like this was also my fault as I had suggested taking flight in mid-air just to drop her because of my fathers' goons. We would've been fine if we didn't fly and just walked. Why didn't we just walk? I groaned as I caught the officer looking at me through his rear view mirror. "Why am I going to Juvie when I did nothing wrong?
My father started all of this, he is the criminal and I'm just innocent," the policeman raised a brow, "Should I start from the beginning and tell you why?" I sighed, "I guess..", "Okay you first took a hostage of a girl.." I raised my eyebrow and thought back on when that happened. "But she was going to be killed by her psychotic ex-friend..he should be the one in jail." the officer pulled into the parking lot, "Not exactly, she tried to kill herself in the process. Then you had also injured her and now have a chance of being paralyzed." if only the police force knew about the supernatural world the outcome would have been different. "Okay but I have an explanation for that..", "Save it for your court date.." He had grabbed me from the back and walked in with me. "I am innocent, I say! Innocent!" It was a yell from the cells that echoed in as I felt nervous inside. "Name?", "Jacobsen Mason Willis.." They took a mug shot of me, "on the other side.."
I turned at their command, "face forward and frown.." the bright lights flashed in my eyes and were then thrown into the courtyard with the handcuffs still on my wrist. The least they could have done was take them off, but knowing them, that would be rare to give me the opportunity to have. I realized looking out of the juvenile center I was on the Southside of Oakheart. I went to the nearest bench and laid down as I was just in anger with myself and my dad. It was annoying that I was claimed to be the leader of Devilry, even though it was my father who just got taken in finally.
"Got to think. How does one escape from this place.." I muttered, "You don't escape.." I raised a brow and leaned back up and looked up. Nobody was around. "Who's there?" I spoke again looking and staring for the person who had spoken. I turned to look infront of me and there the person was as they gave me a fright. "Basically you can only escape if you can file and secure your appeal as guilty and or have the proper amount of bail money.."
They looked at me and tossed a tennis ball in the air then tossed it to me. I caught it. "And rumor has it that your appeal isn't until this Christmas Eve.." The person was a boy who had reddish hair with eyes of mint green. I looked at him strangely, "So I can technically escape in about seven months and twelve days.." He walked up to me and grabbed the ball from my hands and began to throw the tennis ball against the wall and looked back at me. "Princely..Jaydog..If I may call you that.." I looked at him confused, "It's Jacob." The boy shrugged. "and also what. I mean how. How..how did you?" He looked at me again, "I am good at guessing my friend, I'm told I'm like those Seers.."
I laughed and said "And I am not. I never got your name 'friend'?" He smiled, "My name is Nathan Nymphs..but I go by Nate and not Nathan or Nathaniel none of that. That I have reserved for my special someone.." he hints as I roll my eyes. "Well. Nice to meet you Nate..so how did you end up here?"
