17: Tournament

The calvary battles were over and Izuku's team managed to score first place. Izuku had infinity and magic barrier activated at all times. No one was able to get close to Izuku. The only exception was Izumi. She used her telekinesis to try and grab the band but Izuku grabbed it and made an earth barrier in front of him.

"We will be back in a moment while we set up the arena. In the mean time, the contestants will be able to have a break as well as look at the bracket for the final round.

Izuku Gojo vs Hitoshi Shinso

Tenya Iida vs Shoto Todoroki

Izumi Yagi vs Mina Ashido

Fumikage Tokoyami vs Momo Yaoyorozu

Shoka Todoroki vs Katsumi Bakugo

Ibara Shiozaki vs Denki Kaminari

Ejiro Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

Ochacco Uraraka vs Katsuki Bakugo

Izuku saw the bracket and noticed that his opponent was Shinso. He made is way back to Satoru and the others and hung out with them.

SG: "Hey there Izuku. Excited to win."

NK: "What are you even talking about? Of course he's going to."

YI: "I mean, don't you remember thr amount of power he has?"

Su: "Even four of me could lose to him."

PM: "Now let's begin our battle."

IG: "Well, I guess it's time for me to go now."

Su: "Destroy them."

IG: "You got it Sukuna."

Izuku used his shadow to slip into the arena. "From class 1-A, we have Hitoshi Shinso." Shinso walked out to the arena. "And also from class 1-A, we have Izuku Gojo." Izuku appeared out from the shadows with his mask on. Everyone stared in shock as they all realized that he was part of the vigilante group.

Mid: "I want a nice clean game. Now go!"

The two of them stood in their places. "I'm curious. You contain so much power. What can you do?"

Izuku knew that if he were to reply, he would be mind controlled so he decided to use telepathy to communicate. 'I know what your plan is and it's not going to work.' As soon as Shinso tried to mind control Izuku, he failed.

HiS: "What, why isn't my quirk working?"

IG: 'I'm using telepathy to communicate.'

Shinso groaned in annoyance and he ran towards Izuku and attacked. All the hits missed him as Izuku was too fast for his attacks. One of his hits managed to almost hit Izuku but due to his infinity, he missed. Shinso slowly became slower but Izuku was still going. "How do you manage to las so long and not get tired?"

IG: 'I have unlimited stamina.'

"Time to use this." Shinso's fist was covered in a black aura. "Black flash!" The fist collided into Izuku and it knocked him back a bit.

IG: 'So you could manipulate cursed energy. My friends and family should teach you how to properly use it. That was a good hit but I have a rapid regeneration.'

With no more energy to go on, Shinso collapsed from exhaustion.

"And Izuku Gojo advances to the next round." Two medical bots picked Shinso up as Izuku created a green crystal and smashed it next to him. The broken crystals floated and made its way into him and Shinso felt ready to do anything.
