22: Assessment/Eri

The interns were finally over and everyone spoke about their time. More importantly, they spoke about how Izuku and Iida fought the hero killer. They were bombarded but Shoto had to help calm the crowd down.

"Alright. Today you will be taking a practical exam. You've all done the written part." Shota Aizawa announced the whole thing. "Those who fail will not go with us to camp." Out of nowhere, Principal Nezu popped out from his scarf and the rest of the pro heroes walk in. "You will be paired up with one of your classmates. Izuku." Izuku paid attention. "Due to your quirk, you will still be paired with someone but you can only use two quirks." He turned away and displayed a list. Izuku had a look and noticed that he was paired with Katsumi.

KmB: "Hey Izuku, looks like we're paired."

IG: "Apparently."

"Now that you know your partners, we are going to tell you which one of us teacher you're going to fight." Next to each pair, a name popped up. However, for Izuku and Katsumi, they had to go up against all the teachers.

FT: "Good luck Izuku. I also highly doubt that they'll hold back. Decided what to use?"

IG: "All of creation and wind."

HiS: "Why them?"

IG: "With all of creation, I can practically create anything so pairing that up with wind means that I could use something to distract someone to help create an opening. The only downside would be Principal Nezu but I'll be able to sense him."

"Now that you know your teammate and opponent, let's head out. The first two would be Ochacco and Tokoyami versus Principal Nezu." The three of them walked off to prepare. Everyone did the same but made their way to the observation deck.

All the other battles have finished. The only ones that did fail were Kirishima, Sero, Shoka, Sato and Mina. It was now Izuku's and Katsumi's turn now. The two of them made it to the training ground where they were going to be assessed.

Izuku made a wooden sword, ear muffs and two pairs of skates. He gave a pair to Katsumi as well as the ear muffs and as soon as the assessment began, they all ran off. All Might and Power Loader were the first two to rush in. Izuku sensed the two approaching so he ended up creating a money safe and then speeding up so that he could slide underneath. All Might noticed Izuku approaching so he punched Izuku. He dodges All Might's punch by jumping into the air which allowed the safe to slam into All Might, knocking him out. Katsumi was skating over the uneven terrain created by Power Loader. Katsumi waited for him to come out so that she could attack at the right time. Once he came out from the ground, Katsumi threw an explosion at Power Loader which blinded him which gave Katsumi time to put anti quirk handcuffs on him.

The next teachers were Midnight, Present Mic, Ectoplasm, Erasurehead and Thirteen. Katsumi decided to head straight towards Ectoplasm and Present Mic. Izuku dealt with the other three. The first teacher Izuku dealt with was Thirteen Izuku kept on creating useless things which forced Thirteen to use her blackhole. Eventually, she ran out of energy which gave Izuku and opening to put the handcuffs on her. The next was Midnight. Due to Izuku having resistance, Izuku was able to walk through and put the anti-quirk handcuffs on Midnight. He then used his wind to blow the sleeping gas to Erasurehead which caused him to fall asleep. Ectoplasm created clones which forced Katsumi to throw explosions randomly all over the place. Meanwhile, Present Mic yelled which helped Katsumi since it cleared some of the clones. She skated towards Present Mic and exploded the ground beneath him. She kept doing that until the two heroes fell which allowed her to put the handcuffs on them.

It was now time for the final four teachers. Principal Nezu, GreenTelek, Snipe and Cementoss. Since Cementoss's quirk was efficient on land and Izuku couldn't use his wings, he picked Katsumi up and skated as fast as possible. The exit was in sight but before they could reach it, a concrete wall appeared and debris dropped. Izuku created two shields. As expected, GreenTelek used her quirk on a shield which gave Katsumi some time to explode the debris. A gunshot was heard so Izuku decided to protected Katsumi from being hit. Izuku created to make many things and kept Katsumi to distract all the heroes. Once she was covered, Izuku used his wind to dash out and arrest all the pro heroes. This caused the two to pass the exam.

Three days passed and the results were in. Everyone were anxious but Izuku and Katsuki were confident that they passed. "Alright. You are all going camping with us." This caused the five that failed to celebrate. "Those who failed will have their training there increased. Now go and prepare."

Everyone left the class. Toru then came up with an idea. "Why don't we all go shopping as a group." Everyone agreed but Izuku.

IG: "Sorry but, I already have everything."

TH: "Please? You don't have to buy anything. We could all probably hang out as a class."

IG: "Alright."

The next day the whole of class 1-A arrived at the shops. They all met up and then went their own ways to go shop for what they need for the camp. Izuku headed straight towards the food court and began eating.

As he was eating he felt some strange magic so he used gluttony to consume his food to finish later and set off to find the strange magic.

He walked around and bumped into Denki and Iida and the two of them follow Izuku until he stopped in an alley besides the shopping centre. A young girl in a hospital gown and a small horn ran up to Izuku and hugged him. Izuku took the girl off him but didn't send her away. "Hey there, what's your name?"

Eri: "E-Eri."

Denki approaches Eri next. "You lost there?" Eri nodded.

IG: "How about you come with me?"

Before Eri could say anything, a man with a bird beak walked up. "Eri, let's go home. You don't want to hurt them do you now?" The man caused Eri to be extremely terrified. She hugged Izuku tighter.

Eri: "Please don't let him take me."

Izuku analysed the man and learnt that he was named Kai Chisaki also known as Overhaul. He was hesitant on giving Eri to Overhaul so he decides to ask him a question. "Why is she in a hospital gown?"

KC: "Oh she has been really clumsy. Now hand her over before I kill you."

These words caused Izuku, Denki and Iida to prepare for a fight but Izuku gives Eri to Iida. "Denki, Iida. I want the two of you to run back inside and keep Eri safe." Denki nodded and ran in with Eri. Iida followed behind. "Well then. It's just the two of us Overhaul. Or should I say Kai Chisaki."

This irritated Overhaul and caused him to charge at Izuku. Just as Overhaul was close to Izuku, Izuku punched Overhaul in the gut. "EARTH DRAGON IRON FIST!" This sent Overhaul flying to the opposite side of the alley. "ICE DRAGON ROAR!" Ice then shot out from Izuku's mouth and it froze Overhaul in his spot. Overhaul managed to break out but Izuku ended up using his paralysis breath then a fear roar on Overhaul, forcing him to be frozen on the spot. "Now if you mind, I have a child to tend to." He walks away leaving Overhaul frozen in the alleyway.

Back inside, Denki and Iida were trying to explain to everyone about Eri. Luckily, Izuku arrived which saved both Iida and Denki. Eri immediately ran towards Izuku. Momo was the first to speak. "Hey Izuku, do you know the child?"

"I found her with a villain. She told me that she didn't want to be with them anymore so I stopped him. He's currently paralysed in an alleyway." Izuku picked Eri up and walked away. "So Eri, do you want to stay with me?"

Eri: "Yes."

"Alright, let's get you some stuff and head back home shall we?" He walked off with Eri and immediately bought stuff for her.

As the two of them were shopping, Dark Shadow approached them. "Hello there Izuku. Hello Eri." Eri thought that Dark Shadow was a villain but Izuku convinced her that he was actually part of someone's quirk. To prove its friendliness, Dark Shadow gave Eri a piggy back and she began to enjoy it.

IG: "So Dark Shadow, why are you here?"

DS: "Tokoyami and Shinso are trying to calm your friends down. They really want to see Eri."

IG: "I'll allow them to after she warms up to everyone a bit. I did just save her."

DS: "Alright then."

The three of them finished up and headed to the mansion. Tokoyami decided to pay a visit.

Back at the mansion, Izuku brought Eri up to his room and Tokoyami and Dark Shadow followed. The three of them helped set up Eri's stuff and they all eventually fell asleep.
