4: Start Of The Mission

It has been a year ever since Izuku joined Fairy Tail. They have been going out on missions and have recruited two new members. Wendy and Carla. Lucy decided to let Izuku stay at her place for the time being.

"Hey Izuku, ready to head to the guild?" Lucy knocked on the spare room door which was where Izuku stayed.

"Yep ready." Izuku opened the door as the two of them began to make their way towards the guild.

They entered and found Natsu, Gray, Wendy and Erza seated at a table. Happy was trying to get Carla's attention but failed misreably. "Hey Izuku. Lucy." Erza waved while the other two were bickering. "I've found a mission that pays a good amount of jewels." She holds up a piece of paper and allows Izuku and Lucy to read it.

Our city is under attack by something. We don't know what it is but we suspect it has to do with the city that is next to us. Would you please eradicate the city for us please.

Reward: 1 000 000 jewels

They read the paper and agreed to go on the mission. Erza went to Mirajane to let her know that they were going to accept the mission.

At the train station, the group sat as they were waiting for the train to come. In the meantime, Lucy decided to ask Izuku some questions.

LH: "Hey Izuku, I know that it has been some time but I've been meaning to ask. Why don't you ever mention your last name?"

IG: "Might as well tell you guys."

—Flashback—

Four year old Izuku and Izumi sat in the back seat of the car while their mother drove them to the doctor. They couldn't help but to be excited since it was the day where they were able to finally see what their quirk was.

Iz: "I can't wait to be able to see what my quirk is."

IG: "I want one that is as strong as All Might!"

Iz: "Me too!"

Inko laughed as the three of them made their way to the quirk doctor.

In there, the family sat there as they waited for the results to come. "Mrs Yagi?" Inko then began to approach the office where the doctor was waiting. Izuku and Izumi followed behind.

As they all sat themselves down the doctor began. "I have some good news and some bad news. Which would you want to hear first?"

In: "Bad news first please."

"Unfortunately, your son is quirkless." He goes and grabs an x-ray of his foot. "As you can see here, his pinky is double jointed. Those with a double jointed pinky toe doesn't have a quirk developed."

Inko looked at Izuku with sad eyes even though she felt disappointed.

Quirk doctor: "However, your daughter has a strong telekinetic quirk. She would be able to lift heavy thinks like a building but the downside is that depending on the weight of the object."

Inko then looked over at Izumi and smiled at her. "You are going to be a great hero someday."

Izuku felt abandoned and this was just the start of it.

—Flashback Ends—

The whole group looked at Izuku with sadness. Happy was the first one to say something. "That's so mean of them."

Izuku just scoffed. "Well to make matters worse, my father is the number one hero."

Before anyone could ask Izuku another question, the train arrived.

The eight of them arrived at their location there were plenty of people around looking cheerful.

Izuku looked around and noticed something going down an alleyway. "I'll be back." He ran towards the alleyway to find the mysterious figure.

Gray decided to follow Izuku. "I'll follow Izuku. You guys go and start on the mission." Gray then ran down the alley and followed Izuku.

The two of them went down the alley and Izuku stopped when he spotted the thing. "Who are you?" The thing turned around to reveal some type of monster. Gray stood there in confusion as he couldn't see the thing.

It charged at the pair ad Izuku pushed Gray out of the way so neither of them could be hit. "What are you talking about Izuku? There's nothing there." He gestured his hand to where the monster was originally. The monster then went to attack Izuku as he was trying to get up. The monster grabbed him and threw him into a wall. "What just happened?"

"Gray. I want you to create a barrier over there and help me back to everyone else." Izuku pointed in the drection where the monster was as Gray created an ice wall. The monster was trapped on the other side even though Gray couldn't see it. He then helped Izuku up and the two of them made their way back to the group.

Happy noticed the two come out from the alley. "Grayy. Izukuu. What happened?" The two of them lead the group away from the alley.

GF: "I'll tell you after the mission."

ES: "We have to travel to a new city that is filled with monsters. Tell us on the way there."
