Unknown POV

After disappearing I appeared falling to my knees not far from the clearing. I was breathing heavily and my body hurt so badly as I tried sucking in air but the feat proved more difficult then I could imagine as my lungs constricted. Dark spots began appearing in my vision as I got up again before teleporting home again.

As I collapsed on my bed I tried thinking of why I do what I do when it costs me so much. I didn't have an answer or I did but I just smiled at the reason I do it every time. I do it because I can.

'You know what it does to you... to us...' I do but it is worth it.

'Now we must move before the hunters show up... did you think of that?' I... no... I didn't.

'Be more considerate of others... I suffer when we move...' I know okay! I know...

'Remember you will break more hearts this time round if you stay to long...' I know! Just leave me alone!

Like magic it went silent as I finally drifted unconscious.

My dreams became nightmares as I dreamt of that dreadful day.

"Wait! Mother don't let them take me! Please! Don't let them take me! I'll do anything! Please!" I screamed as I was dragged out of my home. I had never thought that the one person who gave birth to me would betray me like this.

I was dragged in to a house as my mother followed behind us. They hung me with chains from the ceiling as I screamed and cried, pleading for them to let me go but it fell on deaf ears.

"Mother-" I felt someone slap me as my head snapped to the side from the force.

" You are no son of mine!" She screamed in my face. I just sighed as I turned to look at her.

"I save your life and this is how you repay me? You are no different then the creatures you hunt! Do you even know what I am? Can you even tell me what I can do?" I asked softly. The only thing that answered me was silence.

"We don't need to know what you are... you're a monster!" A man that was standing at the back spoke out before he moved until he was standing in front of me. Agreements could be heard before he continued. "And do you know what we do with monsters? We kill them!"

I just shook my head as I smirked at him. "Try it..."

My words set off a chain reaction as he pulled out a knife and tried to stab me. The blade stopped just a centimeter from touching me before the blade broke. Everyone froze as they watched the blade fall to the floor in pieces. After a moment of silence someone tried shooting me. The bullet just fell to the floor as people tried different things to harm me. I saw my mother close her eyes and turn away from the scene in front of her.

After they ran out of weapons I looked at the floor and noticed that the weapons made a perfect circle around me. I looked at the hunters before me as I raised an eyebrow.

"Is that it?" I asked bored with this already as I slipped out of the chains.

I landed in front of them causing some to stumble backwards from my sudden closeness. I looked around the room before my gaze settled on my mother. She had tears running down her face as she refused to look at me. I sighed before turning to the other people in the room who were watching me.

"I can give you two options. One, I can just walk out of here and none of you follow or option two is that I just kill you all. Pick wisely." I said as I looked at everyone in the room.

"There are 50 of us and one of you. How would a 10 year old kid kill 50 hunters that have more experience in killing?" A man mocked me as the people agreed.

"It's your funeral..." I sighed before I started walking to the doors while the people around me started dropping to the ground like flies. The screams stopped when the last person fell on the floor before I turned to the only other person in the room.

My mother looked at me with terror in her eyes as I looked at her. Her body was trembling and sweat dotted her brow.

"Please let me go! I'm your mother! I'll do anything! Please don't kill me! Please!" She sobbed as I stared at her.

"Now why does that sound familiar?" I asked her as I tilted my head to the side.

"I'm begging you! Just let me go!" I just laughed at her.

"I remember saying those exact same words to you but you just stood off to the side and watched. You felt remorse for what they were doing to me but in the end you were the one who put me up there in the first place."

"I didn't mean to! You know I love you! You are my only child! You are my baby! My little Sage!" She was sobbing as I just stared at her.

"So now I am your child? You did not even hesitate to have me killed but now that I have your life in my hands you beg and plead for me to save you. I am sick of your words and false promises. You say you love me but you don't even know me. You sealed your own fate when you decided to give me to hunters... you are no longer my mother." I spoke before turning to walk away from her.

When I reached the door I stopped and tilted my head to the side just as a gun went off. The bullet embedded itself in the wall right next to my head. I turned to look at the woman I have called mother for the past ten years as I noticed the gun in her hand. I just turned around again before lifting my hand with my fingers spread out. I heard her gasp before I extended my hand to the side and made a fist. The sound of multiple weapons piercing flesh and the warm spray of blood was the last thing I remembered before blacking out.

I woke up breathing heavily as I turned to see the time. The numbers 03:57 glared back at me as I sighed before laying down again. I closed my eyes again and just let sleep overcome me again.
